Lambs - Betrayed From Birth

Questi "agnelloni" cesenati si presentano con un EP di asfitico Blackned Crust influenzato dal post-hc e dallo sludge. Immaginate i Trap Them strafatti di ketamina che provano a coverizzare
i Converge ma si sbagliano e fanno i Darkthrone alla metà della velocità.
Come risultato abbiamo un base tanto solida quanto desolante dove arpeggi tetri e riffs dissonanti servono ad accompagnare urla lancinanti e rancorose che decantano liriche criptiche.
Tre tracce non sono tante ma in questo caso sono così uniformi da definire un sound e restare compatte sia come suoni che come incedere. Un mid tempo e granitico (non si sa se in un eventuale full lenght i ritmi possano velocizzarsi ma, in ogni caso, non sarebbe nulla che un gruppo così compatto e potente non potrebbe gestire, anzi, ne guadagnerebbe).
Se siete fan delle sonorità oscure e cadenzate dal taglio "moderno" troverete in questo EP una realtà competitiva ed interessante. Questo lavoro è, tra l'altro, confezionato da Drown Within Recs, in un'edizione cd extralusso con sticker, toppa e... e cosa volete, anche un drink omaggio per le signore? non siamo in discoteca!
Accattatevelo prima che diventino famosi, così vi potretete bullare di averlo!
Per gli amanti del buono e del giusto (leggi:VINILE) la Whooaaargh Recs lo sta stampando in formato vinilico con un lato intagliato!
Insomma, alziamo le corna anche se a queste latitudini non siamo praticissimi di questo tipo di rumore.

What can we say? Are you into bleach arpeggios and dissonant riffing? That's the stuff for you! Anguished screams and cryptic lyrics give you throbbing erections? Prepare the lube! This is a downtuned mid tempo inferno that you will not forget!
Ok we know what you're thinking: "Just 3 tracks?" Yes, but we can assure that can give you an idea of what Lambs are all about! so if you're into this "modern" approach of this genre,get this shit ASAP. Drown Within Recs, has made the cd version of this EP an ultra deluxe item, with patch and stricker and....and nothing  else! 2 extras are a lot of stuff, you greedy assholes!
Buy it because, you know, one day they're underground, the other day are on Deathwish or Relapse, so you've been forwarned.
