Questa band è di poche parole: la mail di presentazione riportava soltanto la frase "kisses from Argentina", e sembra essere uguale anche per quanto riguarda la musica. 

Una demo di soli due pezzi da un minuto scarso l'uno per un totale di due minuti di ruido punkettone come solo in sud America sanno fare. Sembra di sentire ohlo seco o colera che provano a fare un pezzo skate-punk! Voce roca, produzione minimale, ne vogliamo di più e speriamo arrivi presto!Baci dalla Sardegna.

This is a band of few words, the  email only states "kisses from Argentina"and they seems to proceed with the same way also for what concerns the music. 

A demo featuring only two songs of one minute each for a total of two minutes of punk ruido as only  South Americans can do! It seems to hear ohlo seco or Cholera trying to make a skate-punk song! 

Barking voice, raw production, and yedwe want more and we hope it will arrive soon! Kisses from Sardinia.

TALACACTUS - ST

Argentina, la terra di Borges, del tango, delle empanadas e dei Talacactus, banda di rock'n'roll impertinente che confina con il punk più spinto.
Un quarto d'ora scarso di mazzate, asciutto nel minutaggio ed alto in velocità, con una bella sezione ritmica in cui il batterista si diverte ad utilizzare campanacci e percussioni che, insieme alle lyrics in spagnolo, danno un sapore latino al suono dei nostri Talacactus.
Musicalmente siamo dalle parti di cult-acts come Los Huevos, New Bomb Turks e Reagan Youth. Il punk si sporca di rock'n'roll (o forse il contrario) e non ha nessun altro obiettivo che mandarvi a fanculo. Si nota che ogni canzone ha una mini-identità che conferisce freschezza al disco; giusto per menzionare un esempio, "Holocausto Nuclear" ha una sezione simil thrash che le regala una nota niente male. Punti bonus per un testo dedicato a "Cadillac and Dinosaurs" forse uno dei coin-op preferiti da un degli autori di questo blog.
Insomma, anziché buttare un quarto d'ora su tante cazzate che ci sono su internet, investitelo sul bandcamp dei nostri eroi... c'è pure il diavolo su sta cazzo di copertina!

Argentina is the land of Borges, tango, empanadas and, of course, Talacactus, a band of snotty rock'n'roll that trepass the border to merge with punk.
A scant 15 minutes of savage beating to your eardrums, with a nice rhythmic section where the drummer enjoys using cowbells and percussions that gives latin flavor to the sound of Talacactus.
They are influenced by cult-acts  like Los Huevos, New Bomb Turks and Reagan Youth. A sound where punk gets dirty with rock'n'roll (or maybe the opposite) and has no other objective than to send you a fuck off. It is noted that each song has its own identity, for example "Holocausto Nuclear" has a mini thrash-like section, which gives freshness to the release. Bonus points for a text dedicated to "Cadillac and Dinosaurs", perhaps one of the favorite coin-ops by one of the authors of this blog. Rather than waste your time on so many bullshit that there is on internet, invest it on the bandcamp of our heroes, and come on.... is a record with the devil on the fucking cover, we need to say some more?
