RATS OF SOCIETY + ABDUCTION + A.S.S. - Salvini punx fuck off

Splittaccio a 3 per palati fini e grandi intenditori del disagio che ci è stato regalato dagli Abduction al ritorno dal loro pericolosissimo tour alcolico verso est.

Partono i RATS OF SOCIETY: delicatissimi, provenienti dall'area milanese e sicuramente parte della Milano da bere e degli ambiti più chic dell'alta moda. Questi lords inglesi suonano un grindcrust di scuola agathoclessiana con quel tocco di noise alla Dechecharge e qualche influenza metal. Se li invitate a casa vi cagano il tappeto e vi bruciano le tende di sicuro, ma non per questo non bisogna spararsi il loro minutaggio di rumore puro. Consigliato se vi piace il primo periodo dei Cripple Bastards. Per tutti gli altri: speriamo vi devastino le orecchie (e la casa).

Dopo di loro è il turno degli ABDUCTION, già passati da queste parti (recensione QUI), che ci sparano due tracce di Thrash-Metal direttamente dalla galassia del THC: "Toxic Avenger Attack" è un vero e proprio inno all'antieroe targato Troma mentre "Pleasure to Grill" accompagnerà i vostri spuntini macchiandovi irrimediabilmente d'olio. Ottima la prova del batterista, una macchina da guerra. Se vi piaccono Hirax, Municipal Waste e Nuclear Assault, qui c'è l'assaggio di un succoso full lenght, basato su velocità assissina e tanto divertimento. Etichette, contattateli: hanno una bomba a raggi gamma in mano! Gli Abduction non vi devasteranno casa, ma occhio alle sonde anali, nascondete la birra e le canne.

Chiudono gli A.S.S. (Anal Satan's Slave): per questi altri il metal estremo comincia coi Sarcofago e finisce coi Nunslaughter, infatti si dilettano in un Thrash-Black marcissimo, tirato a mille, dove aggressione e blasfemia diventano un tutt'uno volto ad un solo obiettivo: suonare duro ed offendere Cristo. Ottimo inizio, da risentire sulla lunga distanza. Con questi le tende se sono nere sono salve ma, se avete dell'acqua santa in casa, al loro ingresso si trasformerà in piscio, siete avvisati.

RATS OF SOCIETY: from the Milan area, a real gentlemen club for the city of mode and nightlife; in fact they play the filthiest grindcrust ever, inspired by Agathocles, Dechecharge and so on. They gonna thrash your house and shit on the carpet, but... hey, that's grind core! If you're into noisecore that's for you, for all the others: fuck off and we hope they will thrash your house for real!

ABDUCTION: thrash metal from the THC galaxy! This bunch xenomorphic bangers will melt your face with two tracks of neck-breaking speed. "Toxic Avenger Attack" is an hymn to Troma and "Pleasure to Grill" is the perfect soundtrack to grill the fuck out. If you're into Hirax, Municipal Waste and Nuclear Assault, that's the starter of one hell of a full-lenght. So, labels: contact them! Abduction may not destroy your home but watch out for the anal probes and hide all your booze and weed!

A.S.S (Anal Satan's Slave): for those guys, extreme metal starts with Sarcofago and ends with Nunslaughter. Filthy thrash-black with the only aim to offend Jesus Christ! Blasphemy+Speed=TNT. A real good start with A.S.S. Your house is probably safe but their presence or their music will turn holy water into piss instantly, forwarned is forearmed!

Herida Profunda + HellBastard - Split

Split di qualità per gente dai gusti fini!
Herida Profunda: ci hanno lasciato senza parole; brutali e precisi. Autori di un grindcrust a tinte deathrash: un incrocio tra gli ultimi Napalm Death e i primi Entombed o una versione D-beat dei Terrorizer! Randellate velocissime, riprese in d-beat e rallentamenti asfissianti sono la ricetta di questo side che nulla ha da invidiare ai più blasonati compagni di split Hellbastard.
Se vi piace la musica veloce a tinte politicizzate (si parla sia di Antifascismo, abuso delle forze dell'ordine, circo, odio per il capitalismo...) questa è la band che fa per voi: brutale ma con un cervello!
HellBastard: un gruppo storico approda su xUAx. Attivi dal 1985 e autori della mitologica demo "ripper crust" (è proprio a loro che si deve il nome di questo sottogenere), sono ora fautori di un crust dalle tinte death metal e con un sacco di riferimenti al metallo pesante in genere. Qualche riff sembra preso da gruppacci svedesi imbruttiti, ma non manca certo l'attitudine punk dai bei testi anticapitalisti. I brani vanno dritti al punto senza essere ampollosi o eccessivamente metal; si sta davvero a cavallo tra i due stili con un gruppo che sicuramente ci sa fare visto che si può tranquillamente ascrivere alla categoria dei veterani. Complimenti!
Split più che ottimo, col risultato di palla al centro per tutti, in quanto i succitati veterani spaccano con una classe tutta loro ma gli Herida Profunda si difendo benissimo, rivelandosi una band più che valida.

One Hell of a Split!
Herida Profunda: heavy and breathtaking grind crust! Think of a hybrid between the latest Napalm Death and the earlyest Entombed or a D-Beat version of Terrorizer! Fast as Fuck, heavy as concrete alternating fast paced and d-beat rythms with slow breakdowns. This side shreds and they are good as the heavyweights in the other side of the split. If you love fast politicized noise (antifa, anticop, anticircus and anticapitalism) that's the band you need! Brutal, but with a brain.
HellBastard: a true legend on this blog! Straigh outta 1985, the band who released the mythological demo "ripper crust" (which gave the name to genre itself), the sound is way more metallic than the past releases, with a lot of death metal riffs both aggressive and "melodic", aniway facemelting stuff, played with raw-power and style. Even if the metal sound took over the punk attitude still remains in fact there's never a dul moment. Those veterans knows how to rock really good. Nice anticapitalistic lyrics.

Negro + Eternal Noire Doom - Split 2016

Split tutto italiano!

Partiamo con i Negro HC (ragazzi, ma il vostro logo è una citazione dei Necrodeath o è un'impressione nostra?). Hardcore punk brutto, sporco e cattivo direttamente da Fano, già terra florida in materia di musica estrema, che ci ha regalato gruppi come gli Un Quarto Morto e i Diorrhea. Questi baldi giovani picchiano che è una meraviglia, rifacendosi a vecchie glorie come Impact e Arturo e suonando in modo semplice ma funzionale al loro obiettivo: criticare la società ed ogni prodotto di quest'ultima. Il classico gruppo pestone da vedere ad un fest quando si è belli carichi e si ha voglia di pogare. Ottima prova!

Gli Eternal Noire Doom da Fermo suonano invece un grind/crust molto rumoroso e caotico figlio sia dei Doom che di roba più moderna come i Nails. Si sentono anche delle tendenze sludge/stench, che sono la parte più interessante del suono di questi ragazzi e pensiamo che, coltivandole un po' di più e trovando un suono un po' più robusto, potrebbe essere un gruppo di quelli per cui strapparsi i capelli. Detto ciò, questo side dello split ci è piaciuto in quanto, pur mostrando la faccia più diretta e grind della band, si adatta bene al concetto di split e fa trasparire le loro potenzialità.

Consigliato sia agli amanti del grind che a quelli dell'hardcore più classico.

An HC/GRIND split from Italy!

Negro HC from Fano (home of Un Quarto Morto and Diorreah) open the hostility with pissed off, negative and fast as fuck italian-style hc. They sound like if Impact and Arturo had a bastard son. Full throttle raw agression and total negativity drenched lyrics are the formula that Negro hc use to express their rage. Catch 'em live, we are sure they rock! Recommended to the old school addicted!

Eternal Noire Doom comes form Fermo and they're into the noisy Grind/Crust inspired by act like doom but also from "modern" stuff like Nails they also have sludgy/stench tendencies and we think that with a proper and "fatter" sound this would become one hell of a band.This side of this split the roughest side of the band that fits better in solit EP! If you're into hc and grind give'em a chance.

Matka Teresa + AfterSunDown - Split

Recensione a cura di Valerio One Day in Fukushima

Ho accolto a braccia aperte la proposta di recensire uno split, ed è doveroso da parte mia spiegare il perché: amo gli split, penso che incarnino in modo molto forte lo spirito del grind (e dei generi affini). Quindi ho affrontato lo svolgimento della recensione con le migliori intenzioni (la proposta sonora mi ha aiutato ad essere fedele alla mia inclinazione).

MATKA TERESA: Non penso che i suddetti Matka Teresa abbiano bisogno di presentazioni: sono un gruppo olandese Grind/PV che tra splits, ep ed altro si sono ritagliati il loro spazio nell’ambito underground. I 6 brani dei nostri (contando anche intro ed outro) volano via in pochissimo tempo, il songwriting non si distacca affatto dalla loro impronta (incentrata sul marciume e sulle folli velocità) e quindi in ogni caso risulta ben pensato e soddisfacente. In generale, possiamo dire che i ragazzi in questione hanno centrato senza alcun dubbio il loro obiettivo!

AFTERSUNDOWN: Questi indonesiani sanno bene il fatto loro! Adepti di un grind che segue le orme di gruppi come i Phobia, i Suffering Mind e i SixBrewBantha, hanno composto dei brani (4 per la precisione) di una potenza deflagrante…dei veri e proprio cazzotti in piena faccia! Ottima la qualità dell’esecuzione e la costante schizofrenia degli strumenti che fanno da tappeto a una prestazione vocale incisiva e massiccia (“Biksbaks” miglior brano, senza nulla togliere agli altri ovviamente). La prova degli ASD quindi è molto valida e gode di freschezza e sincerità: micidiali!

CONCLUSIONI: L’ascolto di questo lavoro è piacevolissimo: la forza di questi ragazzi risiede proprio nell’essere riusciti a mettere insieme pochi brani ma di grande spessore. Ciò comporta che la tensione generale rimane sempre alta e non vi è un attimo di respiro. Infine piccolo plauso per gli artwork dell’ep split 7’’ che sono davvero simpatici!

I love splits 'cause I think that represent grindcore spirit, so I'm glad to write this review.
MATKA TERESA: they are a grind/pv band from Holland that have published many releases, so they are well known in the undergrond scene. They play 6 tracks of music madness as sick as fast that I personally liked so much!
AFTERSUNDOWN: this Indonesian band really know what to do! They play a grindcore in Phobia, Suffering Mind and SixBrewBantha style. 4 explosive tracks with really powerful vocals and schizophrenic sounds. My favourite song (without detracting the others) is "Biksbaks".
CONCLUSIONS: The listening of this split is really pleasant, all the tracks are fast and breathless. I really appreciated the funny artwork too. A very very good work!

POWERxCHUCK + ANF - SPLIT

Sicilia meets Australia e sono tutti mooolto incazzati!!!
16 tracce in 13 minuti, perché la vita è corta e non c’è tempo da sprecare!
Partono i siciliani ANF col solito intro scalda pit, seguito da delle randellate in testa che riportano alla mente gli Spazz e gli Infest, i primi coverizzati nel tributo "Spazzin’ to the Oldies" e i secondi posti in finale dello split con una cover della mitica “Behind This Tongue”. Letteralmente non c’è un momento di tregua in quanto, stavolta, questi ragazzacci hanno indugiato sui mid tempo premendo poi i piedi sull’acceleratore. Un side al fulmicotone che comprime le qualità che il combo siculo ha già mostrato nel full leght d’esordio. Gli ANF si dimostrano di nuovo una realtà powerviolence solida ed oltremodo valida... Insomma, bravi, tutto molto bello! Adesso qui vogliamo degli arancini però..!
Dalla terra dove TUTTO vuole ucciderti, arrivano questi a noi sconosciuti POWERxCHUCK che si assestano su territori powerviolence e paiono più influenzati dai Dropdead (ottima la loro cover di "A Nation Sleeps" presente su questo 7”). Anche se hanno una tendenza più marcata ai cambi di tempo repentini, infilandoci dentro qualche mid tempo da pit assicurato, non pensate che manchino i blast-beats e le grida, anzi, non indugiano affatto! Ottimi e pronti alla rissa! Anche loro presenti sul tributo agli SPAZZ e attivi in un altro miliardo di compile più qualche 7” tutto loro!
Poche storie, se vi piace l'hardcore veloce e crudo accattatevi questo 7” che trovate pure in Italia grazie alla mitica HERE AND NOW RECORDS del nostro amico Mirchetto!

Sicily meets Australia and everyone is pissed off !
16 tracks in 13 minutes, beacause, guys, life is short and it sucks so bad so you better play fast! Sicily starts the fight with Palermo’s fine Always Never Fun, Infest and Spazz are the main influences, blast beat is the game and they play it extremely well! (Spazz are cover in the tribute LP "Spazzin to the Oldies"!) and they also deliver an awesome cover version of "Behind This Tongue" by Infest. A really solid combo that will please the ears of all the speed maniax out there. Really well done ANF, now WE WANT SOME SICILIAN FOOD!
POWERxCHUCK comes from that land where everything is trying to kill you and fastcore is usually loud as fuck, PxC makes no exception: they sound like Dropdead covering some metal tunes, with really crushing mid tempo parts, but dont get fooled the blast beats are everywhere and they’re ready to kill! They also make a stunning Dropdead cover that fucking rocks!

Nuova demo per la band di Lobo che cambia nome da Surplus Killing a D.B.C. (Death Burger Corporation) e condivide lo split con gli Shotinsystem, combo di cui non ho mai sentito niente, e proprio loro iniziano e dopo un breve intro preso da “Milano Odia” seguito una bordata di caos non indifferente nella quale si distinguono poco gli strumenti... confusione, delirio e violenza tra il noisecore e la sperimentazione pura... Certamente c'è del caos nella testa di questi ragazzi che si è riversato del suono dei loro strumenti ed è giunto qui per tormentarvi le orecchie.

Solo per noize maniax.

Dopo un lunghissimo intro tratto da Kenshiro, arrivano i D.B.C. che trovo migliorati rispetto allo split con i Misogo.

Hc veloce, influenzato dal vecchia scuola mmeregana (dagli SSD... in giù per intenderci)

veloce, tirato e con la voce urlatissima di Lobo che vomita odio.

Anche la registrazione è lievemente migliorata e, piano piano, ci si sta avvicinando ad un suono congeniale.

Le coordinate stilistiche rimangono sempre quelle (e ci mancherebbe altro!) e la band se la cava bene con il suo hc vecchia scuola.

Buono split caotico.

New split for Lobo's band, previously called Surplus Killing, has now taken the name of Death burger Corporation and share the split with Shotinsystem, a noise combo on which I have not many infos, and after a brief intro taken from Almost Human (the movie, not the album) the chaos breaks in, and you can barely recognize the instruments... Confusion delirium and ultraviolence: there's a riot in the head of these guys and it exploded through their instruments to torment your ears.

For noize maniax only.

After a long intro taken from the Hokuto no ken's anime come the turn of D.B.C. and the tunes are better than the split with Misogo. Fast Hc influenced from the first wawe of the american punk hc (from SSD to etc etc. you don't need the list if you're reading this), fast, loud and with the wild screams of Lobo vomiting pure hatred. The recording quality is better than the first split, i hope the next one will be the ultimate sound. The style is always the same and if you love the old school this split is for you.

Nuovo splittazzo per i crusters romani Warpeace, che si accompagnano col prolifico combo noise-grind greco Slaughtergrave.
Lo split si presenta bene, con una copertina in carta lucida in formato da cassetta e master in cdr limitato a 50 copie!
Iniziano gli SLAUGHTHERGRAVE, alfieri del noise grind più selvaggio e che sono molto prolifici sotto il profilo delle releases:
contano ben 9 demo 22 splits e 20 compilations su cui i mincers di thessalonica sono presenti...Veramente un buona media per 10 anni di attività, non c'è che dire.
Partono con una cover dei NY Against Belzebu e finiscono con una dei Sore Throath, tanto per darvi due nomi che sicuramente hanno influenzato la band.
Che dire? Il lavoro è il classico noise grind lo-fi e senza compromessi di cui sinceramente, tolti gli Anal Cunt, non sono un gran fan, ma riconosco comunque agli Slaughtergrave una certa verve e grinta che, unite alla loro irriducibile attitudine D.I.Y. e antifascista non può che farmi pensare bene di questa band.
Le tracce picchiano duro, alternando momenti di puro caos a rallentamenti punkettosi.
Non so se hanno i testi perchè non c'è nulla di incluso nel cdr, però titoli come "RAT IN THE SEWERS"(fuck nazis) e "NO TO MODERN FOOTBAL" sono certamente esplicativi di come la pensa la band.
Pollice in su quindi per gli Slaugtergrave anche se non mi sento di certamente di consigliarli agli appassionati di sonorità più classiche e/o melodiche...
Gli appassionati dell'estremo sono avvisati però, qui c'è pane per i loro marci denti!
Passiamo ora ai romani WARPEACE alla loro terza release.
Dopo lo split coi Disabled e il demo ci presentano 4 rotte tracce di Raw crust registrato in presa diretta.
Certamente la qualità non è alle stelle, ma sin dal giro di basso iniziale di "Mercanti Di Schiavi" si capisce che il combo romano non scherza, tra ritmiche serrate, voce urlata e distorsione a palla che fanno la loro porca figura.
Bello l'intro di "Incubo Di Sempre" vero anthem di apocaliptic crust così come il metallossimo giro di basso della prima traccia, che prosegue in modo brutale e dinamico...Insomma i Warpeace procedono sulla strada della brutalità e del rumore e bisogna dire che gli riesce piuttosto bene.
Ora manca solo il full-lenght per vedere come è il gruppo sulla lunga distanza.
Per quanto riguarda i testi, le prime due canzoni "Mercanti Di Schiavi" e "Logica Di Profitto" sono incentrate sul lavoro/schiavitù che è tanto attuale di questi tempi, mentre "Incubo di Sempre" è il classico inno crust apocaliptico.
Chiude lo split la versione ri-registrata di "Brutti Porci", invettiva violenta contro il clero.
Insomma uno split per chi ha gusti estremi e orecchie allenate, a tutti i crust maniax e grind freaks: qui c'è pane per i vostri denti!

the layout of the split is amazing purple glossy paper in tape format with cd master limited in 50 copies!
Slaughtergrave begins the hostilities,they're hitting the scene since ten years and the y had puked out: 9 demos,22 splits and 20 compilations appereances.
So the thy open with a NY AGAINST BELZEBU cover and the quit with a Sore Throat one just to understand which kinf od obscene noise had clearly influenced them.
Then there a bunch of wild songs by the band pure noise but with a punk touch,beside Anal Cunt i'm not a fan of the total noise grind,but i have to say that the band
is not bad and they have a fantastic D.I.Y. and Antifascist Attitude,i dont know if they have the lyric but titles like "RAT IN THE SEWERS"(fuck nazis) and "NO TO MODERN FOOTBAL"explain all.So Horns up for Slaughtergrave,even if i will not suggest this release\band to the mst melodic\classic oriented listener,noise freaks are
adviced there is stuff for you!
Now is it Warpeace turn,they are at the third release after the debut and the split with Disabled they delivers 4 tracks of Raw crust recorded on direct take,the quality of the songs is not high but the tunes itselfs are cool and straight foward.Since the initial bass riff of "mercanti di schiavi" you know that the band is not fucking around,and with a maelstrom of screaming vocals,d-beats and a wall of distortion they sound really good.
Awesome in toro in "Incubo di sempre" real apocaliptic crust anthem,the last track is a re-recorded version of "brutti porci" title track of the demo.
The band confirm the status of real interesting band and i can wait to hear a full lenght maybe recorded in studio,to taste how is the band on a full cd.
A split recorded for who really admire and listen to the extreme genres of crust and grind so reccomended to the maniax

Torna su queste pagine una demo inviata da Lobo, che già era passato di qua con il suo ex gruppo,

i Sartre e ora torna sulle scene con questo nuovo gruppo: i Surplus Killing che splittano per l'occasione con una consolidata realtà noise-grind chiamata Misogo.

E' proprio da questo inquietante nome iniziamo la la recensione:

aprono lo split con 4 inquietanti tracce di noise, supportato da una mortifera drum machine, urla lancinanti e chitarre ultra sature vi catapulteranno in un breve (ma intenso) incubo sonoro.

Appena tre minuti e mezzo di puro rumore dal vago sapore industriale, che mi ha ricordato acts leggendari come 7 M.O.N. E Deche Charge solo con quel tocco di freddezza in più.

Stra promossi anche perché avere quel minimo di personalità all'interno di un genere come il noise grind è pressoche imposibile, quindi gran gruppo.

Partono poi i Surplus Killing gruppo relativamente nuovo, che figura nella formazione membri che hanno suonato i generi più disparati ed ora si approcciano all' hc.

Bisogna dire che la registrazione è, per stessa ammissione della band, deficitaria, quindi è alquanto grezza e sporca come la vecchia scuola insegna.

Se questo penalizza un po' l'ascolto bisogna comunque dire che il gruppo se la cava, incasellando quattro tracce di hc (tra cui una cover del classicone, Young Till i Die dei mitici 7 seconds) ispirato dalla vecchissima scuola americana , tipo Minor Threat, 7 Seconds, SSD, Negative Approach, Verbal Abuse e compagnia old schoolegiante.

Ottima la finale “We Are Zero” con il pezzo iniziale rallentato che esplode in una parte veloce e urlata.

Il gruppo se la cava bene sopratutto con quei riffoni ultra veloci e propriamente old school, ha solo bisogno di concentrarsi bene, sfornare più tracce possibili, trovare un posto decente dove registrarli e sono sicuro che ci riserveranno non poche soprese.

Ottimo split d'inizio, mitica la copertina con Ricky-Oh.

Lobo is back on these pages with his new band, you may remember the guy for his previous band Sartre, rewiewed here some times ago, (or you may had read his blog ”Last World Lobo” from my blog friends page) now is back with his new band Surplus Killing sharing the release with the grind terrorists Misogo, so let's cut the shit and start to rewiew these 2 bands from Piacenza (Italy).

First comes Misogo with their disturbing harsh noise grind sound, supported by a martial drum machine that give somekind of industrial taste to these barrages of noise.

Since the start saturated guitars, inhuman yells and various noise will take you to a brief (but intese) sonic nightmare that brings to my mind legendary acts like 7 M.O.N. And Deche Charge just with a little bit of coldness in the sound.

Horns up for misogo that have a little personality in a genre where it is almost impossible to have it.

The it comes the turn of Surplus killing the new band from my blog mate Lobo.

This band is strongly influenced by the U.S.A, early hc and band like Minor threath, 7 Seconds, SSD, Negative Approach, Verbal Abuse and all the old school company.

The recoding is poor and raw but the band suceed in puking out 4 hc slivers (one is a cover of the legendary, Young till i die by 7 Seconds) with fast as fuck riffs and high speed beats, except for the last track “We Are Zero” that opens with a mid tempo intro and the develop an high velocity part.

They have really cool songs, they just have to put themselves into the rehersal place, puke out a lot of tunes and find a better place to record and i'm sure that they will give us a lot of surprises. Amazing cover with Ricky-oh!

Analizziamo lo split band per band.
Warpeace: aprono le danze questi crusters romani che si erano già fatti sentire con il cdr "Brutti Porci" ed ora propongono qui 5 tracce di Crust tritaossa.
Il CD è registrato molto meglio del primo, complice anche la registrazione nello Hell Smell studio di Roma: le chitarre sono molto più metallose e il basso distorto e presente sembra una cannonata in faccia.
Il nuovo batterista Andrea (già dietro le pelli degli "Agro-Crusters" Olim Palus) aggiunge un discreto tiro alla formazione, dando enorme impatto e velocità più quel tocco di doppio pedale che non fa mai schifo.
La voce sempre gridata ed estrema è divisa tra André (anche urlatore degli ottimi KATExMOSH se non vado errato, almeno dai video mi sembra lui ascoltali qui) e la bassista Giorgia che oltre a macciullare le 4 corde distorissime, urla a dovere nel microfono.
5 pezzi su questo splittazzo dei quali 4 indediti (la traccia n°3 "Terra" era presente anche nel demo antecedente a questo e giova di questo nuovo suond).
I temi sono degli evergreen del crust, dal nucleare alla vivisezione e se magari sono un po scontati, sono comunque ben scritti.
Praticamente si è avverato quello che scrivevo nella prima recensione dei Warpeace, ovvero suono più metallizzato (ascoltatevi il ritmato finale della seconda traccia "Vivisezione" e datemi torto!), più spazio per la voce di Giorgia e degli arrangiamenti migliori.
Sono stato praticamente un veggente? No, pura casualità.
In questa seconda uscita i Warpeace si distinguono e mi colpiscono molto anche in un genere che spesso mi gonfia i coglioni come il crust, corna in altro per loro.

Disabled: passando all'altro lato (del libretto però, dato che è un cdr e non 7") ci sono 5 tracce degli indonesiani Disabled.
A molti piacciono i gruppi dell'Asia per via della loro attitudine estrema, dei livelli di marciume infinito che questi gruppi riescono a dare ancora oggi.
Io non sono di questo avviso e spesso molti gruppi grind o death o crust dei più reconditi angoli dell'Asia mi lasciano indifferente, anche se poi ci sono le dovute eccezioni che spaccano, tutto questo per dire che alla fine anche se il posto da dove vieni ti da sicuramente delle coordinate sonore, io molto spesso non ci faccio caso.
Passando al caso specifico dei Disabled, band abbastanza giovane (mi pare di capire) il risultato è ottimo, nonostante la registrazione non eccelsa ma comunque dignitosa ci regalano 5 tracce di Crust\D-beat non particolarmente veloce e con quel gusto per l'estremo tipicamente asiatico, immaginario apocalptico con bombe massacri, toppe e cartucciere.
Rispetto alla media dei gruppi crust così lo-fi azzeccano molti più riff e alla fine non sono male.
Mi piace molto la seconda voce che c'è nel primo pezzo "Equality", però purtroppo compare solo nel primo brano.
In ogni caso le 5 tracce (inclusa una dal vivo) scorrono godibili e non sono niente male.Ottimo lavoro anche per i Disabled, come influenze siamo dalle parti di Doom, Disclose e "Dis-Beat" assortito.
Conclusioni: Ottimo splittazzo crust, scaricatevelo o accattatevelo dalla band per 2 miseri euro.

Once Again WarPeace are on A.U. and this time they bringed some guests from indonesia,the D-Beat maniax Disabled,ok let's make a rewiew from each band.
Warpeace: they open this cdr and sound a lot better than the first release "Brutti Porci".
They improved the arragements and the recording at the Hell Smell Studios (Rome) is a real blast, the guitars are finally powerfull and less noisy, the bass is totally distorted, bring a real wall of sound, the new drummer andrea is really fast and bring some double bass drumming that is always welcome, on the screams Andrè (who is also the screamer of the power violence unit KatexMosh, or at the least from the videos it seems to be him listen here) is really raw and he shares the mic with the bass player Giorgia.
The lyrics are about the evergreen themes of crust-core from anti-nuclear power to the vivisection maybe not original, but well written.
So in the end the band is improved a lot, as i wished in the first rewiew, horns up for Warpeace they rock.

Disabled: now is Disabled turn. They're from Indonesia and they play D-Beat in the vein of band like Doom and Disclose. Many people likes the bands that comes from asia stating that they are the most extreme and noisy, sometimes they are too much noisy and many Asian Grind\Crust\DeaTh\Wathever acts sounds terrible to my ears, with obviously some exception, all this bullshits to say that surely the place where you belong gives you so many influences but sometimes is not so crucial and i simply dont care.
Coming to the specific case of Disabled i have to say that i dont mind them and that they are not painfull to my ear, yes is not so well recorded and the production and the sound are a little weak, but as a western ignorant as i am i can't imagine what does it mean to record some extreme music in Indonesia, is sure a pain in the ass and it will be difficult, anyway if the sound doesn't shine the riff are good and they taste like 80's, the drum will make happy the most uncompromising bulle belt wielders crusties among you readers cause is a total d-beat madness! I really enjoy the double vocals in the first track "Equality" with a really high pitched scream and growl, to bad the guy (or the gal, i still can recognize sorry ;) sing just in the first track, in the other the singer use a filthy growl\raw vocals that utters grim stories of war and massacres.
I had no expetations about Disabled but they gave me a good impression and i enjoy this 5 raw trax even if im not a crust maniac.
Horns up even to these Indonesian Crusties!
Conclusion this split rocks download or ask the bands!

DISFORIA + BLOODRAISED - The "in grind we crust" split

Ritorniamo a recensire musica estrema e putrida:

un bello split grind crust tra due realtà abruzzesi, gli aquilani Disforia e Bloodraised di Teramo.

Il cd parte con i già noti Disforia che, da una decina di anni a questa parte, suonano il loro crust/grind e con questo split rimpolpano ulteriormente la loro ben nutrita dis-cografia!

Devo dire la verità non sono mai stato un fan dei crusters aquilani, non che siano scarsi, è che semplicemente non mi fanno impazzire, però c'è una cosa che va tantissimo a loro favore: negli anni hanno maturato un certo suono, registrando le loro releases veramente bene, curando i suoni, la scelta dei riffs e le grafiche dei loro lavori...

Questo va assolutamente a favore della mia scuola di pensiero ovvero che un gruppo per fare punk non deve essere per forza registrato male o grezzo o fuori tempo per forza, ma anzi più è curata una cosa più passa il messaggio.

Parlando prettamente dello split qui ci sono 4 tracce di crust trittatutto che vanno come influenze dai Doom/E.N.T , Anticimex ai Disrupt senza dimenticare le sfuriate grind dei primi Napalm Death.

Le tracce scorrono veloci e non vengono a noia, tra d-beat e blast qualche breve assolo di chitarra, un basso bello distorto e un vocione growl che svetta su tutto.

Questa è forse la release dei Disforia che più mi piace e che ho ascoltato più volte, insomma anche se non sono un fan, corna in alto per i 4 aquilani.

Si passa ora ai Bloodraised combo grind di Teramo, attivo dal 2005 e con uno full lenght e un altro split usciti in precedenza.

Il quartetto (che coi Disforia condivide pure qualche membro) suona un grindcore con elementi punk veramente diretto e dove Sara la cantante (che in un primo momento avevo confuso con un maschio, sto pedendo colpi...) fa la parte del leone.

Veloci, brutali ma anche ben registrati, punk quanto basta pur restando grind.

Non ho ancora sentito il resto della loro discografia ma questo è veramente un ottimo spunto.

A real good grind/crust split from two bands from Abruzzo (center of Italy):

Disforia from l'Aquila and Bloodraised from Teramo

The cd starts with the well known Disforia.

The band active by 10 years and this brand new split join the large dis-cography of this band.

Let's cut the shit, i'm not a big fan of the band, not cause they are not good or lame but just beacause they dont catch my attention usually, but i must say something about this band: Disforia pays attention to the riffs, to the sound, to the recording, the layout and all this thing that make they're records enjoyable and not the same,unlistenable shit, proving that you dont need to play shitty at any cost to be punk.

Musically here you find everything that a grind cruster will love: alternance between blasts and d-beat, growl vocals,downtuned guitars,distorted bass and bouble bass drumming.

This is the most enjoyable release by D. i love this 4 songs more than everything that i ever listened.

Good work

Now is Bloodraised turn the band active since 2005 have a full lenght and another split out.

This female fronted four piece is devoted to the grindcore cause but without forgetting the punk roots of this genre.

Good vocal work by Sara which i've mistaken with a male screamer (i'm losing my mind guys...).

The songs are extreme but punk enough to mosh with!

Really fucking good, i will search for the other releases by them!

Good split, you can find the lyrics into their myspace!

Intothebaobab + Piscio Sangue - Split

A volte, anzi spesso nel mio caso, le cose belle hanno una forma tonda e colorata.
Non parlo di caramelle (anche se le apprezzo molto) ma di vinili colorati!
Intendiamoci, io mi prenderei un vinile colorato anche dei Pooh, tanto mi piacciono quei piccoli pezzi di plastica lucenti!
Ci sono poi vinili colorati che oltre ad essere belli da guardare contengono anche musica interessante, come quello che sto per recensire:
lo split Inothebaobab/PiscioSangue.
Partiamo dal lato degli emiliani Intothebaobab con due canzoni che ripartono da dove ci avevano lasciato col disco punk (anzi Knup!): personale, tosto ma orecchiabile con dei bellissimi testi che, giocando tra ironia e suggestioni Orwelliane, si scagliano contro sistema bancario e finanziamento delle guerre, passando per la protesta contro il nucleare e le consuete contumelie contro il nostro beneamato Silvietto.
Certo, qualche differenza col disco c'è: una chitarra di meno per esempio, inoltre senza dubbio c'è un mood più triste, ma comunque sti due brani sono due piccole gemme incastonate nel rosso vinile!
Passiamo ora ai toscani Piscio Sangue, di cui è recentemente uscito un cd chiamato "Nuovo modello umano" che metterò presto su questo blog...
Che dire allora di questi signorini se non che sono fottutamente inquietanti?
Già a partire dal nome che è tutto un programma, passando per i due testi incentrati sulla morte come liberazione dal fardello della vita e uno sempre dedicato al trapasso.
Testi personali ma cupi e toccanti che donano un'oscurità alla band che molti gruppi black metal non raggiungeranno mai, nemmeno se Satana li tocca con la punta dell'uccello!
Questo malessere che si riscontra nei testi e nelle grafiche dei toscani.
Infetta anche la musica che, nonostante sia un punk hc bello tirato, memore della lezione impartita dai gruppi anni 80 italiani (dai c'è bisogno che faccio la lista?..No vero?), ha sopra di se una cappa grigia e impenetrabile.
Voce disperata e melodie di chitarra strazianti, verrebbero in mente parlando di musica cupa italiana i Nerorgasmo, ma i PiscioSangue sono molto più maledettamente veloci della band di Luca Abort...
Ascoltare per credere!
Anche i PS sono un gruppo con il suo stile, e che stile!

Nota che rende questo split ancora più particolare è che per questioni di velocità il lato dei Piscio Sangue va a 45 rpm mentre gli ITB vanno a 33 rpm, figata!

Sometimes beautiful things are coloured and have a circoular shape...
I'm not talking about candies, but of coloured vinyls...
Let's cut the shit, we all love it, and will love even a Lady Gaga coloured one (maybe i'm overstating a little bit, but i have the worst grind shit ever, that i keep it just because is on coloured vinyl).
Well beside the coloured vinyls with awful music, there's sometime that they are really masterpieces and it the case of the Intothebaobab/PiscioSangue let's speak about the tunes!
Starting from Intothebaobab: the Medicina Knup unit strikes again with 2 brand new songs that confirm the band as the one finest young acts in Italy!
This time they have one guitar less and the sound is darker, but they sound real good and the intent of playin punk (or better knup!As they say.) is fullfiled.
The lyrics deals with irony and "Orwellian themes", and with a brilliant use of italian language (but don't worry, i've made the translations).
They criticize the monetary system and Silvio Berlusconi's criminal activities!A soon to be classic!
Now let's talk about Piscio Sangue from Tuscany, from the disturbing name of the outift (Piscio Sangue means I Piss Blood) and from the hanging noose used as a O in the logo, you can imagine that's there is something wrong in the head of these guys, in fact they play a fast but obscure punk that have the roots in the italian 80's (c'mon there no need of a boring list right?).
They have morbid lyrics about death and the fear/wish to die, the grimness and the obscurity of these 2 songs (and of the band in general) is unbeliebable.
I think that the most of the black metal acts of today cant reach the darkness of this band not even if they where touch by Satan's cock!
If you think about an italian obscure punk band you may think of Nerorgasmo but PS are too faster to sound like Luca Abort's band, i think they have they're own way, soon i will upload the full lenght cd by ps that is very good!
The 7" is red and limited to 200 copies (and i've got it!!!!) released by "All'Arrembaggio Records"
The side of PiscioSangue goes at 45 rpm and the one of Intothebaobab goes at 45 rpm a little thing that make this split unique!

PARTIYA + TROTZREAKTION - Split

Ecco qui altro materiale che mi ha mandato il buon Mysh, cantante dei Partiya e boss della Primitive distro.
Trattasi di uno split appunto tra i suddetti Partiya (Bielorussia crust\punk) e Trotzreaktion (HC\Punk dalla Germania).
Inizia lo split con i Partiya, con il loro crust/punk, più tirato rispetto al full lenght, con risultato che le canzoni rimangono più dinamiche e scorrono più in fretta ma anche più compatte, ottimo lavoro.
Seguono i Trotzreakition direttamente da Dresda.
I ragazzi suonano un militant punk hc che mi ricorda i vecchi gruppi italiani tirati tipo vecchi Contrasto (da prendere con le pinze come paragone) o, nei momenti più tirati, gli Alterazione...
Insomma hc/punk tirato se siete qui sapete di cosa sto parlando.
Ritmi veloci, voce urlata (ma non troppo), cori e tanta velocità a rotta di collo,
Purtroppo non so di cosa parlano i testi dei Trotzreaktion perchè sono nella lingua dei Sodom e non la capisco (non ci sono le traduzioni in inglese)...
Quindi non so le tematiche, ma vedo che operano in un contesto abbastanza militant!
Ottimo split.

Once again a post by Mysh from Partiya\Primitive Distro.
This time is a split between Partiya (Bielorussian Crust Punk) and Trotreaktion (German Militant punk/hc).
The split starts with Partiya and I think that it sounds better than the CD because it's more "fast, short and loud" material and, in my opinion, this is the right dimesion for the band, cause in this split they are more solid and fast.
Horns up for Partiya!
Then is Trotzreaktion turn and they rocks too!
They play fast Militant punk Hc, reminding me some old italian bands like (early) Contrasto and Alterazione (but it is just a sensation) probably beacause i dont know many bands from Germany and i can't make a comparison.
Aniway if you like fast beats, screams, gang vocals and hc/punk you can download and you will like it for sure!
I can't understand anything about their lyrics cause they are in german and without translation, but I can see that they are politicized!

QUARTO POTERE + TETANO - SPLIT 7"

Split Anarco punk tra due realtà: una italiana e una isolana!
Partiamo dai sardi 4 potere che suonano un crust / mince-core influenzato sia dalla vecchia scena crust-grind (Agathocles, Anticimex, Doom) sia dal punk anni 80 (Wretched, Discharge e compagnia rumoreggiante).
Il risultato è un mix di chitarre distorte e molto pesanti, ritmiche serrate, voce in growl e testi che vanno a toccare tematiche come l'inquinamento, l'antimilitarismo e il nucleare!
Ottima release, ottima band.
Tetano: Anarcopunk da Benevento.Questo split è il lavoro successivo dopo il loro cd "Di stato si muore" che era più orientato verso sonorità wretchediane.
Qui invece il suono è più robusto e più ruvido e si nota una certa propensione a inserire mid-tempo dentro i pezzi.
Voce growl e testi articolati contro la polizia, i mass media e sull'argomento violenza-non violenza.

An anarcopunk split between two bands: one from Italy one from Sardinia
4 Potere from Sardina plays mince-core influenced by the old crust-grind/crust scene (Agathocles, Anticimex, Doom) and the 80's (Wretched,Discharge and so on).
The result of the influences is good and find a raw/crust punk band with downtuned guitars, fast beats and growl vocals.
Lyrics are about pollution, antimilitarism and the nuclear menace.
Good band!!!
Tetano is an anarcopunk band from Benevento and this vinyl is the second after the cd "Di Stato si Muore" (death by state).
If the cd was more wretched-style oriented this 3 tracks are rougher and more distorted, with growls vocals and some downtempo drumbeat.
Really well written lyrics about police brutality, violence/non violence and mass media.
Another good band, not my favourite, but impressive.

LowFat + Onset of Serious Problems - Split

Split tra gli indonesiani Onset Of Serious Problems (un nome, un programma) e i Thailandesi LowFat.
Si parte coi LowFat che suonano un caotico powerviolence intramezzato da pezzi più o meno Thrash.
Come l'80% delle bands asiatiche hanno una voce alta e stridula (non ci è dato sapere di cosa parlano i testi), ma titoli come "Let Gacchan Eat'em all" non lasciano presagire niente di buono!
Per fanatici del powerviolence.
Si passa poi agli Onset Of Serious Problems che nel loro myspace citano come influenze Siege e Repulsion, ma hanno un suono grind e in perenne blast beat, che non mi ricorda i gruppi succitati ma più che altro il suono che si ritrova in una vecchia compilation chiamata Asian HC (se qualcuno di voi non l'ha sentita prima o poi la posto qui!)
Anche loro per fanatici del grind.
Lo split è Diviso in 2 grandi tracce con dentro le canzoni (come nei vinili per intenderci).

Here's a split between Thailandese Lowfat and Indonesian Onset Of Serous Problems.
Lowfat plays a schizoid Powerviolence with thrash/hc parts inclundig high pitched voice (it seems a constant feature in the asians bands) and fast as fuck drumbeats.
There is no lyric in the cd so i don't know what's the lyrics are about.
Theres a Disclose cover in it.
For powerviolence maniax only.
Onset Of Serious Problems plays grindcore and quotes Siege and Repulsion as they're influence but more than this two american heavyweights O.O.S.P reminds me the sound of some bands on the compilation Asian HC
(Never heard before? Nevermind soon on this pages!).
Aniway this band is pretty chaotic and fast as the speed of light.
Recommended only to the filthiest grind maniax.

A FORA DE ARRASTU + FECCIA TRICOLORE - Split

Split tra le 2 isole italiane Sardegna e Sicilia, il risultato? Una fottuta bomba!
Si parte con gli A.F.DA.,quartetto proveniente dal medio campidano fautore di un Punk\HC dalle mille influenze strane (basta pensare ai vari strumenti atipici,tipo il sax presente in alcune canzoni).
I testi sono in sardo campidanese, ma non preoccupatevi, ci sono le scans del libretto con le traduzioni!
Date un ascolto agli A.F.D.A., non ve ne pentirete!
I Feccia Tricolore suonano invece un ibrido bastardo e incazzoso di HC italiano, OI! core e Thrash, da riassumersi come....CALCI IN CULO A TUTTI!!!!!
Testi schietti, diretti, ma non banali. Uno dei tanti grupponi che offre il panorama hc siciliano.

Ok, here's a split between two of the greatest band of Sicily and Sardinia!
A.F.D.A. plays their own interpretations of 80's punk/hc with a touch of melody and strange influences (it's really hard to define their style, their influences goes from Misfits to Fugazi, from Bad Brains to Sonic Youth).
They have some really uncommon instrumentes for punk music in some songs (sax) and they sing in sadinian language...
But don't worry: the scans of the booklet included in the folders have the english translation of the lyrics of both bands!
Enjoy A.F.D.A.
Feccia Tricolore comes from Palermo (Sicily) and they plays a rough mix of 80's italian hc, OI!core and Thrash the result is...KICK IN THE ASS FOR EVERYONE!!!!!
One of the meanest bands from Sicily (watch out Sicily it has a real good scene).

UN QUARTO MORTO + ENTACT - Split 2010

Ok ragazzi, nuovo post nel blog! Stavolta tocca allo split Un Quarto Morto / Entact.
Un quarto morto: questo gruppo di Fano suona un fast core che mi ricorda un misto tra i Los Crudos e gruppi italiani tipo Wretched o Nerorgasmo, però con dei testi molto elaborati e mai banali.
Hanno un batterista sovraumano che suona pure nei Diorreah.
Hanno fatto 3 sette pollici, due per conto loro e uno split coi sardi Mr.Murrungio, il tutto racchiuso in un cd discografia che presto metterò nel blog.
Ho scambiato due volte con loro e li ho trovati piuttosto propensi allo scambio quindi vi consiglio di chiederglielo!
Entact: Non so molto molto degli Entatc, anzi non so un cazzo e il loro myspace non mi aiuta...
Comunque suonano un hc / punk pestone dalle molteplici influenze, ora melodiche ora molto pesanti,
carini i warnames che fanno tanto primi Venom!

Un quarto morto: is a fast core band from fano Italy.
They remind me Los Crudos meets Wretched with cool italian lyrics, very brutal drummer.
Higly reccomended band.

Anyway they play fast hc with many influence, good band!
They have funny warnames like early black metal bands.
