Finalmente il tempo è arrivato e il futuro diventa un distante passato ante-umano in questo splendido full-lenght dei Thecodontion.
11 tracce che narrano la storia del supercontinente, ovvero la massa di terra che, comprendendo più di un cratone, può essere considerata il raggruppamento di quasi tutti i continenti, e che è andato a modellare la Terra per come la conosciamo.
Ogni canzone ha il nome dei vari supercontinenti, nelle sue varie incarnazioni che nel tempo hanno assunto.
Tutto questo si traduce in un un war metal che collide con del prog più a 360 gradi dove, come al solito, non ci sono chitarre, ma solo due distruttivissimi bassi che, sopra un tappeto sapientemente tessuto dalla batteria di V.P., tessono trame primordiali ma intricate.
Qui si pesca dagli Antediluvian come dagli High Tide o dai Necromantia, in un patchwork sonoro stupefacente e molto atipico nel panorama estremo ,spesso troppo incanalato in stereotipi che non lasciano spazio alla personalità.
I Thecodontion se ne fottono e scrivono la loro storia e, ancora una volta riescono e centrano il bersaglio.
A coadiuvare il buon GEF alla voce abbiamo anche dei guest Rodolfo Ciuffo (SVNT) e anche Skaðvaldur (Urðun) quest'ultimo direttamente dall'Islanda, inoltre anche JPC (degli ottimi doomsters Night Gaunt) aggiunge alcuni fantastici inserti di chitarra baritona.
Un prodotto certamente interessante che può destare interesse in qualunque ascoltatore di musica estrema abbastanza aperto da riuscire a capire cosa realmente possono offrire i nostri.
Chiudono il cercio un fantastico artwork di Stefan Thanneur e i suono curati da Marco S.(Flamekeeper), creando un'opera difficilmente dimenticabile.

11 tracks that tells the history of the supercontinent the mass of land that including more than one craton can be considered the grouping of almost all continents and who went to shape the earth as we know it, each song has the name of the various supercontinents in its incarnations over time.
All this translates into a collision between war metal with 360° degree prog whit as usual no guitars but only two destructive basses that above a pattern expertly woven by the drums of V.P. they weave primordial but intricate textures.
Thay take from Antediluvian as from High Tide or from the Necromantia an amazing and very atypical sound patchwork in the extreme panorama often too channeled in stereotypes that leave no room for personality Thecodontion doesnt give a fuck and write their story and yet another time they manage and hit the target, to assist GEF on the vocals duties we also have some guests Rodolfo Ciuffo (SVNT) and also Skaðvaldur (Urðun) the latter directly from Iceland, also also JPC (of the excellent doomsters Night Gaunt) adds some fantastic baritone guitar inserts.
An interesting product that can be interesting any listener of extreme music open mindend enough to be able to understand what Thecodontion can really offer.
