"E commo piccae su ferru e su moro", espressione dialettale sarda traducibile con "e adesso impugnate il coltello" è proprio ciò che la formazione nuorese fa con questo secondo disco, sfoderando un sound molto più compatto ed aggressivo della prima release.
Sin dalla traccia di apertura, la breve ma intensa "S' incendiano parole" ci si accorge che sia il suono che la composizione sono radicalmente migliorati e, in neanche 50 secondi, gli ZM dimostrano come fondere introspettività ed aggressività senza mai risultare melensi, chiudendo il pezzo con l'epica frase "rifiuto compagnie di intrattenimento e schifosa ipocrisia".
Questo disco è pieno di momenti memorabili, come "S'attittu" (storia di una vendetta tipicamente sarda) o " Codice di Barbagia", che spiega senza mezzi termini lo spirito della sopracitata terra.
Il mixaggio, a cura di Gigi Keller ( Ludd - Youngblood - Impact - Accidia Recs), è ottimo e pulito ma, nonostante ciò, il suono generale conserva comunque una cupezza che dona al disco un retrogusto vecchia scuola.
La profondità e la passione che traspare dai testi è indescrivibile. A nostro avviso si collocano tra le migliori liriche scritte nel panorama hc sardo (ma bruciano anche il culo ad un miliardo di gruppi italiani).
C'è anche una fantastica cover dei Minor Threat (dove Zan di questo blog duetta con Francesca).
Un disco perfetto, che può essere lo specchio del posto in cui è nato: un posto grigio ed inospitale ma dove i valori, nel bene o nel male, non vengono mai meno.
Dategli un ascolto e confermerete anche voi!

Since the opener "S'incendiano parole" (As the words burns) you can notice that ZM sound and composition are radically improved and in less than 50 secs the band show to merge introspective lyrics with straight-foward hc sound without resulting dull, closing the song with the epic statement "I refuse fake friendship just for entertaiment and filthy hypocrisy".
This release is full of very interesting songs like "S'attitu" (which is a tipical story of vengeance from the Sardinian island) or "Codice di Barbagia" (Code of Barbagia) where the values of Barbagia (North-center Sardinia) are explained with vehemence.the mix of the album is made by Gigi Keller (Ludd-Youngblood-Impact-Accidia recs.) is clear and powerfull but it have inside the dark and raw spirit of the 80's oldschool.
The lyrics are really passionate and angry probably the best out of Sardinia, ZM was the best hc reality from the island and they also kicked so many asses even in Italy.
There is also room for an astonishing cover of the D.C's masters Minor Threath were I personally shared the mic with Francesca.
That's a perfect work which take a portait of the most dark and violent face of Sardinia, a place where values are never set aside.
