Shred - Still Hitting the ground

Sono tornati gli Shred per dimostrare che lo skate boarding è un crimine e non uno sport e che la musica va suonata veloce, violenta e possibilemente incisa in vinile... Si presentano infatti con un bell'LP da 13 tracce e una fantastica e tamarrissima copertina disegnata da Claudio il chitarrista (anche tatuatore di livello, se volete pasticciarvi la pelle).
Musicalmente sono una specie di versione abbestiata degli RKL che tentano di coverizzare i DRI al doppio della velocità e contemporaniamente chiudere japan, e i Gang Green sono là con loro ad incitarli e a portargli le birre.
Reso l’idea? No? E vaffanculo, c’è il disco su bandcamp, ascoltatevelo.
Raccomandanzione: volume alto e pronti a rompervi qualche articolazione!

Back to prove that skateboarding IS a crime and not a lousy sport, and also that music SHOULD be violent, fast and possibly on vinyl, Shred delivers a 13 tracks EP with a cool and over the top artwork by the guitarplayer Claudio (and also skilled tattoo artist, if you’re minding to ruin the body that god gave to you).
Musically is like RKL trying to cover DRI at double speed while trying to accoplish some complicate skate trick, Gang Green are there and inciting them and they have also brougt some brews.

Oggi recensiamo una demo un po' vecchiotta (2012) degli Shred.
Questi ragazzacci provengono da Roma, con membri dei  KATExMOSHx, NO FU e Reaction to Ruin, quindi solo robetta melodica e mid-tempo :) .
Anche qui siamo su velocità sostenute, ottime per un bel circle-pit, soprattutto se vi ci volete gettare dentro con uno skate!
Siamo di fronte ad una vera forza della natura: immaginatevi gli Stalag 13 o gli Ill Repute suonati alla velocità degli Heresy o gli RKL che fanno i Sick Of It All ed avrete un'idea di cos'è questo gruppo.
Skate-core assassino, a volte più "core" a volte più "r'n'r", ma sempre casinista e molesto come la loro natura impone. Le tematiche di questo dischetto infatti vertono o sulla loro visione della tavola oppure vanno più sul personale.
Scaricatevelo e usatelo come sottofondo per grindare o chiudere un bel boneless...c'è pure la canzone che si chiama nello stesso modo!

Today's review is about an old demo (2012) from Shred.
These guys come from Rome and play in other bands like KATExMOSHx, NO FU and Reaction to Ruin.
Shred play fast for a good circle pit, mostly if you like to get in with a skateboard!
They sound like Stalag 13 or Ill Repute played as fast as Heresy or RKL covering Sick of it All.
Pretty killer demo, with lyrics about thrashin' and shredding hard with your board!
Use it as a soundtrack for late night skate session or to try a boneless, there's a song named after that trick.
