Tempi estremi generano arte estrema.
Nerohazet è il perfetto prodotto di un'epoca distopica e draconiana come quella che stiamo vivendo, un patchwork sonoro disperato e antisociale figlio di un'era post-industriale, mosso da una rabbia punk iconoclasta che ha animato la scena anni 80 italiana.
E' qui che Paolo (mastermind del progetto) produce questa one man band con il solo ausilio di un gameboy, ma anziché fare della allegra chiptune o della paraculissima retro-synth-sticazzi (sì, lo sappiamo che è figa, ma la retromania ha rotto il cazzo), si cimenta in un elettro-noise-punk a 8 bit che spaventa per il suo essere così aderente al passato della scena italiana e non che ha un futuro, dove la tecnologia è una appendice in metastasi che ci uccide e che non possiamo ignorare!
Sembra di sentire i Wretched che jammano con gli 8-bit Weapon, gli Eu's Arse che collaborano con gli Atari Teenange Riot per la colonna sonora di un videogioco, ma il budget è soltanto speed tagliata mala e disagio.
Quando Mike Pondsmith il creato del Gioco di Ruolo Cyberpunk 2020 e parlava di Chromatic Rock e rocker cyberborg anticoporativi, si immaginava certamente una cosa come Nerohazet.
Veramente una discesa in un girone infernale biomeccanico!

Extreme times brings extreme art, Nerohazet is the perfect product of this dystopian and draconian era like the one we are experiencing.
This recors has a desperate and antisocial sound patchwork, son of a post-industrial era and moved by an iconoclastic punk rage that animated the italian scene of the 80s, and here that Paolo (mastermind of the project) produces this one man band with the only help of a gameboy, but instead of making some cheerful chiptune or trendy retro-synth-wathever (we know that it is cool but the retro attitude is boooring), bring to light a 8-bit electro-noise-punk that scares for being so adherent to the past of the Italian scene and towards a future where technology is a metastasis that is slowly killing us that we cannot ignore!
It seems to hear the Wretched that jams with 8-bit Weapon, or that Eu's Ass that are collaborating with Atari Teenange Riot for a video game soundtrack but the budget is only cheap drugs and madness.
When Mike Pondsmith the creator of the Cyberpunk 2020 Role-Playing Game, described Chromatic Rock and anti-enslalishment cyberborg rockers he certainly imagined something like Nerohazet, truly a descent into a biomechanical hellish circle, they are looking for co-producers \ label and this stuff deserves to be on physical format.
