Riascoltatevi i C.I.B!

Il ritorno dei Calamari in Bermuda o dei Crap Inside Brains o qualunque altro acronimo vada bene con C.I.B. e se non vi va bene....

Dritti per la via della pazzia analogica, questa volta sottoforma di spledida cassettina gialla con annesso booklet con collage thrashoso che riepiloga le epiche gesta del combo sassarese. Musicalmente non ci discostiamo troppo dal 7" (che trovate qui --> LINK):
fastcore/ powerviolence / grind (chiamatelo come vi pare...questo è punk veloce).
Incazzato, ma anche con tanta voglia di divertirsi, come dimostrano i testi di "Hokuto Shinken is not good for our shows" che pone il solito problema della violent dancing (abbasta con queste cagate sotto al palco!) in un'ottica parodistica citando Hokuto No Ken e i Cobra Kay oppure a "Big twinkie for doc Spengler", commemorazione del compianto Harold Ramis.
Certo non mancano i testi più seri come Narco Capitalism o Fell 16, che ci fanno capire come il gruppo sia legato ad un pensiero Punk con la "P" maiuscola, ma c'è, giustamente, anche una grande dose di divertimento.
Stra-consigliata per tutti i fan della musica veloce ma, se volete la tape, affrettatevi perché è LIMITATA, per tutti gli altri c'è il download. GO C.I.B GO!!!

C.I.B from Sassari (Crap Inside Brains... or any other acronym do you want to use) comes back with a bang!
They follow the path of the analogic madness once again with their beautiful yellow tape which contains a very thrashy collage booklet.
The sound of this tape is similar to the 7" (that you can find here --> LINK):
a fastcore/ powerviolence/ grind explosion (or any other form of fast punk-hardcore do you know).
As angry as funny, in songs like "Hokuto Shinken is not good for our shows" that talks about violent dancing (stop this shit under the stages!), like "Big twinkie for doc Spengler" in memory of Harold Ramis or like "Narco Capitalism".
Very recommended for the fast music lovers but, if you want the tape, hurry up 'cause it's limited... for all the others, there's the free download!

C.I.B. - 7"

Siori e siore, ragazzi, ragazze e bambini di ogni età, ecco a voi i C.I.B. in forma vinilica!

La squadra della morte del calamaro, devota al fastcore/thrash proveniente da Sassari, ci delizia con 14 velocissime tracks al fulmicotone!

Niente di meglio per festeggiare il 3°compleanno di U.A. (infatti chi ci conosce o ci segue da un po’ sa che le sonorità ultraveloci sono le nostre preferite ed è sempre un piacere allungare la lista di gruppi che perseguono la causa del Go fast or Go home).

Come scritto nell’altra recensione, i C.I.B. sono uno dei pochi gruppi in Sardegna a suonare questo tipo di musica. Avete presente W.h.n, Spazz, DS13  e tutti quei gruppi che adorano suonare breve, veloce, ma molto intenso? Per intenderci questo gruppo racchiude in sé tutto questo: non c’è un momento di calma o più rilassato, fanculo i mid tempo e i brani che durano più di un minuto, la band non ha tempo per queste stronzate! E’ piuttosto impegnata a suonare più veloce che può e infilare una killer song dietro l’altra, grazie ad una batteria a rotta di collo, un chitarra thrashettona, un basso bello distorto e la voce di Claudio, al limite dell’esaurimento nervoso, che vomita testi talvolta impegnati (Little Soldier, All Dead) a volte dal tono più Easy (Go Surf!Fuck Work!) ma non per questo meno godibili.

Poche chiacchiere, gente: questo 7” è una bomba del cazzo, spacca troppo, è registrato ottimamente, ma soprattutto è suonato bene, con la passione e il furore proprio del genere e vi assicuro che portarlo avanti in Sardegna dove gli spazi, i gruppi, le distro e qualunque altra cosa inerente all’HC è veramente rara e spesso a kilometri di distanza… Quindi ode ai C.I.B. che suonano un genere che spesso da noi ha poco spazio e seguito, dunque ascoltate e scapocciate, PUKE FAST!

Nothing will be better to celebrate the 3° anniversary of U.A. (who know the croocked duo between the blog is aware the high speed is our passion) and now we can add one hell of a band to the long list of worshippers of the Go Fast or Go Home philosophy.

Like we wrote previously C.I.B. is one of the few band from Sardinia that plays this kind of noise. Going straight to the point is you are into Spazz, W.H.N, DS13 or Scholastich Deth for example.

The band just want to play short fast and loud. There’s no calm moment in this 7”: fuck the mid tempo, screw the the songs that last for more than a minute, no time for the bullshit! This band is busy in playing as faster as the can puking up killer songs track after track, featuring neckbreaking up tempo drumming, thrashing guitars and overdriven cocky bass where the vocals of Claudio that seems to be near of a nervous breakdown yells about “serious” lyrics (Little soldier, All Dead) or softer topics (Go Surf! Fuck work!).

Let’s Cut the Shit (probably another band that C.I.B. had listened a lot): this 7” is a total fucking blast: well recorded, well played and bringer of the fury and passion that hardcore really needs. Is not easy to keep alive an HC reality in Sardinia: few venues, few spaces, few bands and few people, but when we do I can assure the my people are hardcore to bone and so is C.I.B. music… So listen or die. PUKE FAST!

C.I.B. - PROMO 2012

BLAAAASSSSTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!

Questa demo da 4 tracce mi ha veramente rotto il culo!

Chiamatelo thrashcore, fastcore, powerviolence...

Sta di fatto che questo quartetto sassarese annienta qualunque cosa nella sua via!

Influenzati da Spazz, Siege,WHN..! , DS 13, Vitamin X e qualunque altra cosa vada fottutamente veloce.

E' uno dei pochi gruppi (se non l'unico) che suona questo stile veloce e senza compromessi dalle mie parti, e questo non può che farmi piacere, dato che erano anni che aspettavo di sentire una bomba del genere prodotta in Sardegna.

So che la band sta pure per buttare fuori un 7" e non vedo l'ora di sentire le thrashate che ci saranno incise sopra.

Musicalmente che dire?

Batteria a rotta di collo, la voce del buon Claudio (ex Crushed Up e Delirio)

che urla con potenza anthems contro lavoro e ipocrisia generale, chitarra e basso belli distorti che

macinano riffs thrashoni.

Visti dal vivo a supporto dei Coloss mi hanno semplicemente meravigliato

(con tanto di coverazze di DS 13,WHN..! e Siege tanto per gradire).

Grande presenza scenica e qualche discorso sul palco che mai guasta.

Corna in alto per i C.I.B.... Aspettiamo il 7" con impazienza!

Whatever this 4 pieces from Sassari (Sardinia)

is a real bulldozer!

Totally influenced by Spazz, Siege, WHN..! , DS 13, Vitamin X and everything that goes fast as fuck!

One (and probably the only one) band in Sardinia playing that plays this fast and uncompromising style that i truly love, and to hear a band from my little island playing thrashy tunes just make me fuckin' insane.

I've heard that they are going to put out a 7” and I just can wait to dig it.

Musically if you're into the fast shit you know exactly what to expect:

speedlight drums, ultra distorted thrash and fast riffs, and hysterical screams made by Claudio (ex Crushed Up, Delirio and boss of Big Sprites Records).

I saw the guys live supporting Coloss and they fucking rocked out!

Playing an energetic set featuring covers of Siege, W.H.N.! , D.S.13 ; great stage presence and some interesting introduction to the songs by the singer.

I AM WAITING FOR THE FUCKING 7” GUYS!
