Punk sintetico per cyber-corers!
Questa one man band è devota sia all'uso di synth acidi e drum machine che all'uso di una bella chitarra rumorosa e punkeggiante.
Se volete un incrocio malato tra i Peggio Punx e i Kraftwerk, adesso lo avete!  Siamo di fronte ad un EP breve ma intenso che, se da una parte ha un approccio un po' lo-fi (ma quando mai è stato un problema da queste parti?) dall'altra si mostra fresco e pieno d'idee, con tanti loops ipnotici che creano un'atmosfera diversa rispetto al milionesimo gruppo rip-off dei Wretched o copy cat degli americani.
Bravo, ci hai incuriosito, ora vogliamo di più!

This one man band plays a blend of what we can describe as a twisted offspring between Peggio Punx and Kraftwerk where hypnotic loops meet punk guitar and filtered vocals. This EP is a little lo-fi (never been a issue for us) but full of ideas and atmosphere.
Very good, give us some more!

ABOMINATION ALL OVER - ST

Demo d'esordio di questa one man band (presumo) belga (dico presumo perché non ho molte informazioni su questo progetto).

Ci troviamo davanti a un punk/hc molto spinto sul piano della velocità e sul rumore molesto, tanto da sconfinare nel grindcore. Sulla registrazione, molto grezza, svetta una molestissima drum-machine, mandata a mille e dal suono ultra sintetico, (sinceramente non mi dispiace il fatto che suoni “finta”, anzi, trasmette un senso di angoscia e di ripetizione quasi industriale, che potrebbe essere un punto di forza nelle future releases della band).

Da rivedere invece il volume delle chitarre che sembrano un po’ sovrastate dall'incedere della drum che a volte soffoca gli ottimi riffs di chitarra, che meriterebbero un ruolo più in vista nel disco.

Si va da riffs punkettoni dal sapore squisitamente 80's a pure bordate di rumore a plettro teso, senza tralasciare qua e là qualche smettalata che non fa mai male e dona quell’atmosfera maligna da extreme metal.

La voce è il classico urlato isterico che vomita critiche contro il sistema, lo stato e la società in sè: come in ogni buon disco punk che si rispetti è presente infatti la giusta dose di testi politicizzati e di protesta. Il disco, coerentemente con il pezzo “music should be free”, è infatti scaricabile gratuitamente e assemblato in puro stile DIY!

Progetto non male, soprattutto per essere il frutto degli sforzi di una sola persona che, un po’ più di cura dei suoni, potrebbe farcene vedere delle belle!

This is the debut of the one man band ABOMINATION ALL OVER, I think this project is from Belgium (I don’t have any info on the provenience of this work).

This guy plays a very noisy punk/hc defined by unpleseant noise and extreme speed, mixed with grindcore and powerviolence.

The recording is really raw and the songs are sorrounded by a defeaning drum-machine, that sounds ultra synthetic (frankly it doesn’t bother me at all rather, the fact that it sounds artificial give me a sense of anguish that matchs with the general sound: it can be something good even for the future releases).

The guitar sound/volume instead must be rewiewed beacause the ultra fuzzy guitar tone is surrounded by the relentless run of the drum-machine and the very good guitar riffs are stifled by the barrage of noise. These good riffs go from the classic punk to the total grind assault, with some metal episodes with an extreme metal flavour.

The screamed vocals are ultra classic and isterical, full of rage against the state, the system and everything from this sick society.

The CD is assembled in pure DIY spirit and according on his own song “music should be free” it can be downloaded for free. With a proper sound this will be a killer band.

Not bad as a start, especially for the efforts of just one person.

Bud2ay - United

Nuova demo inviatami da questa one man band (nello specifico Bud2ay) polacca che suona un rap-core/crossover cazzutissimo cantato in lingua madre.

Se conoscete gruppi come i Clawfinger, i Bodycount o i più scontati R.A.T.M. Sapete cosa aspettarvi: chitarroni compressi e ribassati che si stagliano su un tappeto di ritmico in 4\4 per poi sfociare in ritornelli più spinti e da sicuro mosh pit!

Dalle info in mio possesso so che questo disco è l'ultimo uscito dopo parecchi splits con altre realtà underground. Il prodotto è veramente ottimo e contando che c'è una solo persona dietro tutta la musica, il voto sale esponenzialmente.
La registrazione è pulita il suono di chitarra è veramente devastante così come è ottimo il resto degli strumenti (non so se si tratti di una drum machine per la batteria ma poco importa).

L'unico cruccio che l'ascoltatore medio deve affrontare è l'ostacolo della lingua madre che non certamente tra le più conosciute al mondo, ma del resto anche il rap francese sembra incompresibile ma non si può dire che non spacchi!
Tolta la barriera linguistica l'mc ha un bel flow, molto old school che mi ha ricordato il rap della prima ondata tipo N.W.A., Public Enemy, o run DMC insomma quella roba ritmata che ti prende bene ascoltare.

Promossa questa ganzissima one-man band che se non piacerà agli hc'ers più puristi saprà certamente ritagliarsi un posto negli ascolti di chi ha vedute più ampie!

P.S.  Dopo uno scambio di mail con Budzay è saltato fuori che la maggior parte delle chitarre sono state composte e registrate dal suo amico  Tomasz Dzikowski. Mi è sembrato giusto scriverlo.

New demo from this polish one man act (the mastermind Bud2ay) playing a very cocky rapcore/crossover sung in polish language.

So if you listened to band as Clawfinger, some Bodycount's tunes or the most common R.A.T.M.

You know what's this stuff is about, low tuned compressed guitars that grind down monolithic riffs on a 4\4 groove attack before turning into aggresive refrains that will sure raise a wild mosh pit.

From the info that i own that their latest work after some demos and split.
This cd really rocks and counting the fact that there is just one guy beneath the proj is quite amazing.
The guitars are really a kick in the ass well recorded and so are the other instruments (i don't know if there is a drum machine involved but cares!).

The only thing that can disturb the listeners is that all is sung in poland and maybe a closed minded listener can't appreciate this choice... I personally liked it even if i have to admit that i didn't understand anything of what he's singing, but who cares even french hip hop seems intelligeble but is one of the most appreciated/best style of hip hop in the world.

So if you don't mind the foreign language the mc have a really old scholl-like flow that reminded me the early years of rap music... you know N.W.A.,Public Enemy o run DMC,that kind of rap style that is simple but relly incisive.

Recommended to the most open minded reader a really good work!
