Vi lasciamo dunque a 9 exploit grezzi ma di cuore esattamente, come il nostro.
VENOM - DEMON (1980)
Bhe, che dire? Una demo breve, intensa e che, soprattutto, inneggia a Satana, dove il trio di Newcastle (allora un quartetto) ci regala tre perle che finiranno sull'imprescindibile debutto. Siamo davanti ad una registrazione grezza, veloce drogata e brutale, che sancisce un primo passo nella storia del metal estremo.
CHAIN CULT - DEMO (2018)
Senza dubbio il nostro demo preferito del 2018,una carica anarco-punk al servizio di un cuore dark-wave. 6 tracce che ti si infilano in testa e ti caricano per un singalong molesto. Questi ragazzi greci bucano le casse e ti si tatuano addosso.
DEATH SS - THE HORNED GOD OF WITCHES (1981)
Una tape da culto, con due dei brani più iconici del combo di Horror Music, Terror e Murder Angels con la storica maledetta formazione degli esordi. In origine stampato in sole due(!) copie, è stato ristampato anni e anni dopo in una lussuosa edizione con scatola di legno e medaglione con il bafometto. Che dire della musica? Due pezzi di Evil Metal immortali dove, il solo giro di basso di Terror vale 30 volte i Ghost.
RUNNING WILD - HEAVY METAL LIKE AN HAMMERBLOW (1983)
Prima di fare i pirati Rock'n'Rolf e soci, battevano la strada del metal satanico, buttando fuori il mitico Gates of Purgatory ma, prima del debutto, c'è questa cassettina a cui possiamo evidenziare le seguenti caratteristiche: copertina indecente, titolo da TSO e voce narrante che dice cose horror a caso e tupa-tupa costante, un fottuto capolavoro!
MIDAS - SOLID GOLD HEAVY METAL (2019)
Ecco un altro demo recente che ci ha fatto cadere la mascella: tipacci heavy metal tutti denim, baffoni e tatuaggi che sfoderano un sound con un produzione proto-metal che rimanda a band come gli Steppenwolf o gli UFO, ma con i riff alla primi Iron Maiden/Saxon. Refrain garantiti e una delle canzoni su Elric di Melnibonè più riuscite: Blackned Blade. Verrà presto ristampato in vinile: in campana.
NABAT - CAMPANE A STORMO (demo 1982 ristampato nel 1988)
Ok, va bene, stiamo barando: questo è un bootleg che non contiene solo un demo d'esordio, ma anche altri vari cazzi e mazzi in bretelle, però sono i Nabat e quindi facciamo un'eccezione, perché se non ti piacciono i Nabat hai problemi. Passando al demo è praticamente come mettere un foglio di carta abrasiva sul giradischi, ma un pezzo di carta abrasiva con i cori di "Scenderemo nelle strade" e "Nichilistaggio"... cioè, ci siamo capiti!
GHOUL-CARRY OUT FUCKING(1984)
Creste Rosse ✓ Inglese incomprensibile ✓ Strumenti che suonano come se fossero percossi con un tubo di ferro ✓ Grafiche disumane ✓. Questa mansnada di teppa giapponese era uno dei gruppi più violenti, estremi e genuinamente punk proveniente da Sol Levante. I successivi 7" hanno pure qualche riff metalloso, ma in questo prevale lo sfacelo più totale. Da queste parti gli unici veri Ghoul sono loro, quelli con la maschera non ci garbano.
SABBAT-ST(1985)
Il culto dell'heavy metal nipponico, un singolo talmente perfetto che di più non si può. La sola Mion's Hill può spazzare via qualunque gruppo finto revival, con quel suond che è la sintesi tra Venom e Angelwitch. Un gruppo che ha raccolto i plausi dell'underground criminalmente sottovalutato a qualunque altro livello, ma se hai un outfit come quello di Gezol non puoi essere ignorato.
ARRANZU -VOMITATE CAZZATE (2009)
Un piccolo amarcord personale, la demo di dei nostri amici di piazzetta che tra skate, birra e anarchia ci hanno regalato una bellissima demo che incrocia i Peggio Punk con i DDI e gli UDS! Erano davvero piccoli e incazzati quando scrissero questo pugno di anthems tutti cori e tupa-tupa, che ancora oggi ci fanno emozionare pensando a giorni lontani e selvaggi che non possono che farci tornare alla memoria gli esordi di questa webzine!

A short, intense demo that with the main intent is to praise Satan. The Newcastle trio (that a four piece in the recording) gives us three diamonds that will end on the essential debut. This is in a raw, fast-paced and brutal recording that marks the first step in the history of extreme metal.
CHAIN CULT - DEMO (2018)
Without a shadows of doubt our favorite demo of 2018, anarcho-punk force in service of a dark-wave heart. 6 tracks that sticks in to your head and force to a fierce singalong. These Greek boys are the best choice in this kind of noize.

Really remarkable refrains and one of the most beautiful songs written about Elric of Melnibonè: Blackned Blade. It will soon be reissued on vinyl check out Dying Victims productions.

This Japanese gang of thugs was one of the most violent, extreme and genuinely punk bands ever existed. Coming from the land of the rising sun, the other 7 " have also some metallic riffs, but in this one the total wreckage prevails. These ones are the only real Ghoul, those one with the masks are mhe.
SABBAT - ST (1985)
Cult of Japanese heavy metal! A single so perfect that nothing more can be said. Mion's Hill alone can wipe out any fake revival group with that suond that is the bastard offspring between Venom and Angelwitch, a group that has garnered popolarity in the underground but is criminally underestimated at any other level, if you have an outfit like Gezol's you can't be ignored.
ARRANZU - VOMITATE CAZZATE (2009)
A small personal travel in our memories, this a demo made by some our friends which roamed the streets and the squares of our hometown thrashing hard their skates, chugging up beers and spreading anarchy !They gifted us with a beautiful demo that crosses Peggio Punx with the DDI and UDS! They were really young and pissed off and wrote this handful of anthems, that are 50% gang vocals and 50% fast drums that still make us excited, and make us dream about those distant and wild days, that remind us of the early days of this webzine!
