VOK REBELDE - LIBERTADE

Queste registrazioni sono tratte da un live della ska-band nuorese registrato a Bortigali.
La qualità non è certo quella di "live after death" ma neanche così cessofonica come si potrebbe pensare, sopratutto contando che sul palco c'erano 2 chitarre, un basso,batteria,tromba più un paio di voci e svariati cori.
In ogni caso non si sente per nulla male e le canzoni fighe del gruppo sono qua (Uno Bianca, Skaserme, Zustissia Mala), quindi se vi è piaciuta la prima demo (che trovate qui----> demo) date un ascolto anche a questo live che vi darà la dimensione del bordello che questa vecchia band faceva dal vivo.

These recording where made during a show in Bortigali by the Nuoro's Ska band Vok rebelde.
Don't expect a "live After Death" like recordings but not even a  filthy as shit sound and consider the fact that the instruments on the stage where a lot of instruments.
The good songs of the band are all here Uno Bianca, Skaserme, Zustissia Mala).
So if you like the previous demo (that you can find here ----> demo) give a chance to this old band!

VOK REBELDE - DEMO '98

 

Primo demo punk uscito per la Tifiamo Rivolta Records.
La formazione Vok Rebelde, ska-band nuorese che, oramai una decina di anni fa, calcava i palchi sardi proponedo un onesto e skankeggiante spettacolo, da questa band poi prenderà vita il power-trio F.C.T. e da una loro canzone prenderà il nome la band Zustissia Mala. Musicalmente il combo nuorese suonava uno ska (con tanto di trombetta) dal ritornello facile e dal ritmo allegro, ma senza disdegnare le accelerazioni tipiche del punk.I testi però erano già orientati verso tematiche serie (a parte un paio) e molto legate alla situazione sarda (Zustissia Mala, Babbos) e perciò cantate in limba sarda.Mancano però le tematiche più "classiche" del panorama punk come l'odio per le divise, i militari e le istituzioni,tutto ciò era buttato fuori con molta naturalezza e spensieratezza senza ricadere in testi intellettualoidi o complicati per forza.La registrazione non è così schifosa come si potrebbe pensare e il disco rimane ascoltabilissimo.Un lavoro che ha fatto certamente da apri pista alle altre releases punk nuoresi anche se con un suono completamente diverso.Consigliato a maniaci dello ska, skinheads legati alle radici oppure a chi vuole sapere cosa c'era in sardegna in quel periodo!

That's the first Tifiamo Rivolta Records release and it's the ska band that gave birth to F.C.T. and on which later on Zustissia Mala tooke their name.So musically is a funny danceble ska-core, with trumpet, classic riffs and refrains but some speedy accelerations from where you can see the punk future of the band.If the music is happy the lyrics are angry as hell, some are in sardinian language and are about the sardinian situation (Zustissia Mala, Babbos, Marra e' Bentu) and the others are in italian about some "classic" punk topics as the hate for the police and the state, everything is written in a very simple language not caring about being intelectual but just to be spontaneus.The recording is not so disastrous and noisy as you can think.
This is the first nuoro punk work of the end century so if you love the TRR release and you want to hear the very beginning that's the start.Recommended to ska maniacs and old school skinheads.
