Una pachidermica onda sonora è pronta ad investirvi, con pesanti zampe ed enormi zanne!
Il branco di dinosauri è pronto all'attacco, ed è decisamente intenzionato a non lasciare prigionieri.
Questi romani, assolutamente fuori di testa, cacciano fuori un bell'EP di war-metal giurassico, suonato esclusivamente con bassi distorti, batteria ed il ruggito di Heliogabalus, che narra degli esseri che dominarono la terra in passato, al posto di noi deboli scarti scimmiesci addomesticati.
La proposta tende a ripresentare il sound dei mitici black metal skinheads Blasphemy, e di fieri seguaci come Antediluvian, Teitanblood e Black Witchery, aggiungendoci un vago sentore grind che ricorda gentaglia come Godstomper o Agents of Satan.
In questi lidi il war metal non è esattamente il genere più gettonato, ma il cambio di suono radicale ed il basso primordiale rende veramente più interessante la proposta della band, e le dona un'aura di antichità e timore primigeno, che rende la release una piccola gemma da avere.
Un'altra band che i Thecodontion ricordano da vicino sono i Neoandertals, anche loro solo basso voce e batteria, che hanno però tematiche relative agli uomini di Neanderthal (il sogno sarebbe uno split).
Questo bell'EP è uscito in 7"per XenoglossyProductions/ Wooaaargh/ Glossolalia Records.

This Ravenous pachidermic horde is ready to trample and destroy your sorry ass!
Hailing from Rome, this brutal combo is dedicated to some kind of twisted jurassic war metal with no guitar at all, only abyssic distorted bass guitars and the wild roaaarrrr of Heliogabalus tells the forgotten tales of the mighty beings that walked earth before the puny humans.
The musical influences is the bestial noise of hordes like the fore fathers Blasphemy, but also the cult follow up covens of Antediluvian, Teitanblood and Black Witchery, but the tunes have a slight grindcore touch in vein of bass destroyers like Godstomper and Agents of Satan.
We are not big fans of the so called war metal, but the low vibrations of Thecondotion delivers a sense of primordial terror, that is appealing and fresh.
This 7" is a little gem.
Another band that is really close to Thecodontion is Neoandertal, that only use bass drum and vocals with lyrics about Neanderthal men (a split would be cool).
This glorious noise is out in the anologic and ancient way for XenoglossyProductions/ Wooaaargh/ Glossolalia Records.
