Close To Collapse - Demo '09

I Close to Collapse vengono da Palermo e sono formati da membri di grupponi tipo Haemophagus (Death/Grind), Shock Troopers (thrash metal) The Limit (HC old school) e Sonny Corleone (Crust) e suonano Crust/D-Beat.
Siamo dalle parti dei Doom, Disrupt e dei vecchi Extreme Noise Terror con qualche riff più metal e qualche ottimo solo di chitarra.
Doppia voce scream/growl come da copione per una demo di una ventina di minuti che di sicuro non lascerà scontenti i cruster più intransigenti.
I testi non li ho per cui non so di cosa parlano.
Se devo trovare un difetto è che a volte la doppia voce scream/growl stanca (anche se so benissimo che fa parte del genere) e il genere non è certo dei più innovativi (ma del resto se mi fosse piaciuta la musica innovativa di certo non avrei fatto un blog come questo!).
Tolto questo comunque considero i Close to Collapse una band più che ottima e se non vivete senza le vostre toppe che iniziano per DIS- li troverete eccezionali,
Per gli altri un ascolto è comunque consigliato.
Un plauso a questi ragazzi per aver formato uno dei gruppi crust che non inizia per dis.

Close To Collapse are from Palermo, Sicily (for the foreign guys, in Sicily there is a Great HC scene: check it out).
This is a side project of members of greats bands like Haemphagus (Death/Grind), Shock Troopers (thrash metal), The Limit (HC old school) e Sonny Corleone(Crust).
C.T.C. plays crust\D-beat in the vein of bands like Doom, Disrupt and old Extreme Noise Terror with some metal riffs and catchy guitar solos.
Two voices (scream\growl as usual) for 6 tracks EP of 20 min.
That will please the Crust maniax. i don't have their lyrics so i don't know what they are about.
If i must find a defect is that sometimes the growl/scream tends  to be a little boring (i know is a feature of the music style), but is not a defect that harm the linesting just a matter of personal musical taste.
Aniway if you can't live without a lot of patches that all begins with DIS, you will find a Great band, for the others i recomend a listen.
Horns up to crust band that decided to have a name without DIS.
