MOTAM DS - ST

I Motam Ds approdano al primo full lenght ma già sciolti purtroppo...
Questo combo di Cuneo dopo molte difficoltà ceduto e ha lasciato il loro cd a scaricare, ottima decisione, visto che il lavoro in questione è ottimo.
Parlando di genere i nostri suonano il Party-Thrash che è tanto in voga di questi tempi (non nascondiamoci dietro un dito da un po' di tempo a questa parte sono spuntate un sacco di band che suonano molto in stile "waste" quando prima non c'erano, in più vedo il termine thrash un po' abusato, ma non è il caso dei Motam).
Sarebbe quindi facile liquidarli dicendo che sono simili ai Municipal Waste, in parte è vero l'influenza MW è tanta, ma io ci sento dentro un po' di S.O.D.,Crumbsuckers e Attitude Adjustments: un bel mix dove le componenti punk e metal sono ben miscelate e dove tutto è suonato alla grande, dagli "tzocchi" di doppia cassa ai fraseggi di chitarra,voce urlata e suoni rifiniti.
Fa dispiacere sapere che un gruppo così non suonerà più dal vivo (senza dubbio la sua dimensione migliore), ma fa piacere sentire un discone del genere.

That's a good thing because this cd is a total blast.
They play the so-called party-Thrash that's seems to be a trend novadays (don't get me wrong but few years-ago there wasn't so full of band that played and acted like Municipal waste and, so many others band that called themselves thrash without knowing what thrash is about,is not M.Waste fault but of the morons without personality).
It will be too easy to say that they suond like M.W., MW influences is sure big but there is also S.O.D.,Crumbsuckers and Attitude Adjustment in Motam sound.
A Raw mix of Metal and Punk, with a real good studio work, from the double bass drumming to the concrete-like guitar sound.
Is a pity that a band like Motam will not crush the stage again (because live dimesion is sure the one that belong to them) but is great to hear such a good cd.
The lyrics are totally demential.
