Pervenuto a me tramite il cantante della band Lobo (anche padrone di casa dell'ottimo blog, LastWorldLobo) recensisco questo demo postumo della band Sarte di Piacenza.
Dalla prima traccia "Controllo Totale" si evince subito il genere suonato è un Punk\Oi! dai tempi sostenuti e dai riffoni grezzi, insomma avete presente il genere, voce che urla di disagi di vario genere in modo rabbioso, batteria che si cimenta in tempi medio veloci che danno il giusto ritmo al pogo e basso e chitarra che ci danno la giusta dose di rumore per condire il tutto? Insomma la classica band punk!Questo sarebbe veramente un ottimo d'esordio, ma l'unico problema è che è funestato da un registrazione pessima.
Mi spiego: non voglio essere lapidario con la band che anzi fa il suo ottimo lavoro,ma piuttosto con chi ha registrato la demo,dalle notizie in mio possesso so che questo lavoro è stato registrato in uno studio (studio merdoso a stessa detta della band) con tutti i volumi sballati e in presa diretta.
Visto il livello medio delle prese dirette odierne tornerei dal fonico e lo costringerei a ripetere tutto, oppure andrei in qualunque altro studio dove la cosa verrebbe senza dubbio meglio (scusate l'invettiva, ma queste storie mi fanno veramente incazzare, sopratutto se avete sborsato soldi per questa cosa)!
Insomma a parte il problema della registrazione il demo è molto buono sopratutto l'ultima traccia "La fine è Vicina" e la cover dei Nabat "skin e punk" velocizzata a dovere.
I testi sono belli incazzati e ci descrivono scenari distopici e repressivi che poi altro non sono che il mondo in cu viviamo oggi.
Il gruppo si è sciolto dopo che il bassista li ha mollati, io vi esorto a riprendere ragazzi perché non eravate per niente male e con un po' più di cura per la registrazione (magari anche solo un amico munito di PC, scheda audio e microfoni) verrebe certamente un bel lavoro e poi ricordatevi in ogni caso che ci sono sempre stati un mucchio di gruppi fighi senza basso (dai Doors agli Assuck) e che comunque chi la dura la vince e magari qualcuno salta fuori.
Dategli un ascolto (registrazione a parte) la musica è figa.

So the band is splitted up but Lobo told me to rewiew them aniway.
Since the first track "Controllo Totale" is clear the Punk\OI! style of the band.
You know what to expect, guitar and bass who gives the rythm to the pogo, the guitar add the right dose of noize and the vocals screams about various socials issues, so you know what to expect don't you?
This will be a really good debut for the, but the only problem is that the recording is a real shit!
Ok now i explain myself: i don't want to be rude with this band, first of all because i think they deserve and also because is it not they're fault if the recording is like this.
In the short bio that i own Lobo claims that the recordings where made in a shitty studio and with fucked up settings on a direct take.
Ok if i where the band i would force the guys at the studio to re-record the demo,because the quality of the novadays direct takes are way more better than this one,but as i said is not Sartre fault about the sound.
Aniway the music is good angry and energic merging OI! riffs and Punk speed, there's also room enough for a cover of the mythological Nabat (this time is turn to the timeless classic "Skin & Punk") that is played faster than the original and that's good.
My favourite tack is the last one "la fine è vicina" that is the faster and have a main riff that sound real thrasy to my ears.
Real good lyrics, very grim and dystopic that describes a world gone bad that is obviously the one in which we live in.
The band split up when the bass-player left the band, i say SCREW IT! there are a lot of good band without the bass (from The Doors to Assuck) so get back together and make a demo part II° with a better sound.
