Irrompono nella scena sarda con questo fantastico LP rosso splatter i RAW, banda scum-punk degenarata e malatissima, ispirata a gentaglia come G.G. Allin, i Germs, gli Zero Boys e i TSOL ma con l’aggiunta di un tocco di violenza e irriverenza Thrash alla S.O.D, Accused e compagnia bella.
Ne viene fuori un hardcore/punk compatto, veloce, ultra
violento e pieno di ritornelloni, che offre pezzi killer uno dietro l’altro (a
cui si associano titoli geniali tipo “In god we trust, for kids we lust” e “Nazi
trans fuck off!”) dove la sgraziata e malatissima voce del frontman G.G. Kambo ci vomita addosso l’odio per una società
perbenista e ipocrita vista dagli occhi di un nichilista perverso (non me lo
sto inventando: è nella bio della band!). Grafiche e vinile ineccepibili e
curate nei dettagli. È presente anche "Green", una cover dei Nitrosomones, gruppo in cui militarono alcuni dei Raw negli anni 90!
Anche le performance live sono piuttosto borderline:
ispirate al BDSM, con tanto di maschere, mutande con il fallo prese da
wrestling e personaggi con maschere da animali… L’ultima volta che li ho visti
dal vivo (a supporto dei Napalm Death!) hanno chiuso con “Nazi trans fuck off!”
cortese invito a nazi, omofobi e merde varie a mollare la maschera da duri che
rappresenta una copertura per celare solo una gran voglia repressa di
cazzo (un plauso alla band perché è stato uno dei discorsi più fighi che abbia
mai sentito fare su un palco).
Attenzione però, se pensate che questo sia un gruppo del cazzo che basa tutto sull’imagine e sullo shock facile, state bussando alla porta sbagliata: la musica spacca molto di più dell’80% dei gruppi “seri” di oggi.

Ora basta con le chiacchiere, il suono e i riffs li
conosciamo tutti bene, l’attitudine è soltanto più malata, quindi giù il
moralismo e fate tremare il vostro giradischi con i RAW!

splatter and is awesome as fuck,on the record there is also a cover of green by
nitrosomones a 90’s band featuring some RAW members.
As the
music Is Sick so are the live perfomances ispired by BDSM,with masks,strap
ons,wrestling moves and people with animal masks ! last time I saw them
live(supporting napalm death) they
palyed “nazi trans fuck off!” starting by stating that being a macho-dumb ass
nazi omophobe is just a way to hide the fact that you love cock so bad! It was
one of the coolest statement I have heard from a band! Warning: if you think that’s
a lousy shock band ,made all around the crazy outfits you’re in the wrong
place,the music kick ass so badly!
Let’s cut
the crap,we all know what punk’s about,the attitude here is just a little more
