AUTODIFESA PROLETARIA - AUTUNNO CALDO

 "dopo gli anni di piombo solo anni di merda"

O almeno così dice l'adagio. Il punk hc italiano però ha avuto più di un annata soddisfacente e il filone Oi! sta vivendo una revival con band che tengono alto il valore anthemico nei pezzi. Gli Autodifesa Proletaria, attivi sulla asse Bolo-Roma-lecce, entrano a gamba tesa in questa aspra e dura lotta, riprendendo quel filone del nostro beneamato rumore che prevede che i pezzi abbiano dei ritornelli riconoscibili e con liriche crude, militanti e d'impatto, usanza che si stava perdendo e che richiama gruppi come Tear Me Down, Colonna Infame e Affluente, almeno nelle intenzioni oltranziste e bellicose. La musica ci ricorda gli Erode (tributati con una cover), la Banda del Rione, il suono di band come Non Servium e i dimenticassimi Oltraggio, che fanno della potenza e dei leads melodici la loro arma principale. I prototipi di inno da ci sono tutti, dalle bordate contro la giustizia (Benvenuti in via Schievano), alla melanconia proletaria (Senza Tregua, altro gruppo che in qualche modo puoi ricordare gli AA), l'hooliganismo romantico (Nostalgia canaglia). I compagni non dimenticano nulla e coverizzano anche la celeberrima Renault 4 dei chiaccherati P38, progetto non esattamente nelle nostre corde che rielaborato in questa versione tra T.M.D. e Downset cattura decisamente l'attenzione dello staff. Band che non si dimentica di citare la questione palestinese che sta venendo fin troppo ignorata dalle band punk, ma non qui! Auguriamo agli Autodifesa Proletaria numerosi follow up di questo splendido esordio. C'è bisogno di realtà radicali al giorno d'oggi, e questa frontiera può essere un nuovo orizzonte auspicabile.

"After the Years of Lead, only years of shit."

Or so the saying goes. The "Years of Lead" refers to a period of social and political turmoil in Italy during the 1970s and 1980s, characterized by widespread political turmoil and violcnce. However, Italian punk hardcore has had more than a few satisfying years, and the Oi! movement is experiencing a revival with bands maintaining the anthemic value in their tracks. Autodifesa Proletaria, active along the Bologna-Rome-Lecce axis, dive headfirst into this harsh and fierce struggle. They revive our beloved noisy tradition, ensuring that their tracks feature recognizable choruses with raw, militant, and impactful lyrics, a practice that was being lost and that recalls groups like Tear Me Down, Colonna Infame, and Affluente, at least in their extremist and belligerent intentions. Musically, they remind us of Erode (Tributed with a cover), La Banda del Rione, and the sound of bands like Non Servium or the forgotten heroes Oltraggio, which make power and melodic leads their main weapon. The prototypes of anthems are all there, from the assaults against "justice" (Benvenuti in via Schievano), proletarian melancholy (Senza Tregua, another group that somewhat resembles AA), romantic hooliganism (Nostalgia Canaglia),  the comrades are  not forgetting anything as they also cover the (In)famous Renault 4 by the controversial P38 (communist trap/rap collective), a project not exactly in our vein but reworked in this version between T.M.D. and Downset, it definitely captures the staff's attention. They also make sure to address the Palestinian issue, which is being ignored too much by punk bands, but not here! We wish Autodifesa Proletaria many follow-ups to this splendid debut. There is a need for radical realities today, and this can be a desirable horizon.
