Riaddentriamoci nell'underground sardo con la demo dei sassaresi Emorragia!
Se il nome di questo combo vi ricorda gli spagnoli Haemorrage non siete tanto distanti dal capire che cosa questi baldi giuovini sounano:
ovviamente uno splatter Death\Grind molto aggressivo(anche se le parentele con gli anatomopatologi spagnoli si fermano al nome e al sottogenere).
Il cdr in questione è comprensivo di 5 tracce che ci presentano il periodo più orientato verso il Death Metal della band...
Non aspettatevi però il solito clone dei Suffocation o la solita odiossissima band slam-death
(ma a chi piace veramente quella merda col pig squealing esasperato?).
I ragazzi sono influenzati sì dal Death prima maniera e sono sicuro che hanno consumato C.Corpse, Grave e Broken Hope e, di certo, si sono fritti il cervello con schifezze grind del tipo Carcass prima manierà, Rot, primi Cripple Bastards (forse è anche l'uso della lingua italiana, ma visto che siamo in ambito splatter una bella cover di "Pete The Ripper" dei CB fatta dagli Emorragia non sarebbe niente male).
Comunque per intenderci qui troviamo un Death/grind che pesca a piene mani da quanto detto prima senza però dimenticarsi neanche il Thrash o il metal in senso stretto
(prendete questo paragone con le pinze, ma l'assolo della seconda traccia "Bowling Head" è comunque abbastanza melodico e metallegiante).
Un altro elemento certamente molto old school è la totale assenza di blast beat a favore invece di mefitici mid tempos o di sfuriate veloci ma comunque mai su velocità estreme.
Anche la voce in controtendenza al Death più moderno rifugge al growl più estremo, proponendo un urlato che non ci starebbe male in gruppo crust o punk più spinto, sostenuto in molte parti dall'ottimo screaming del bassista.
Ottimo anche il fatto che si capisca ciò il cantante grida perché ciò rende i pezzi molto più memorizzabili
(se mi permettete un consiglio però, io una voce growl che ogni tanto doppia quella principale, almeno in sede di registrazione, la aggiungerei).
Insomma un buon inizio per questa band sarda un po' per le tematiche splatter un po' per le soluzioni molto old fashioned e il suono spartano (questo non so se ricercato e\o casuato dal poco tempo\soldi)...
Insomma se vi piace il grind e il metal e se come me siete in fissa per film come "Splatters", "Ichi the killer" e "Bad Taste" non faticherete ad ammirare sia il macabro impianto lirico che la musica proposta.
Gianni della band mi ha contattato personalmente per la recensione di questa demo, inviandomi in busta il cdr come si faceva tempo fa e anche questo per me fa guadagnare punti e mi fa capire la mentalità di sbattimento underground della band (almeno da ciò che posso vedere...).
Imparate gente!
Dalla chiaccherata on-line che mi sono fatto con Gianni è emerso anche che il gruppo ha cambiato stile e adesso è un trio senza basso (come gli Assuck!) devoto al grindcore più marcio e meno Death e anche l'impianto lirico dovrebbe essersi spostato più sul sociale.
A questo pro ho anche chiesto al gruppo se sono sessisti o omofobi e mi è stato risposto di no.
(Mi scuso qui con loro per il terzo grado che gli ho fatto, ma con tutti sti gruppi porno-grind pro-stupro, omofobi sessisti e quant'altro non si sa mai...).
Il gruppo mi ha detto che la prossima uscita dovrebbe essere fissata per dicembre, spero su queste pagine.

Ok guys here's some underground death\grind noise from Sardinia.
This is the 2010 CDr demo by Sassari's Emoraggia,the band itself claim this work as it's "Death Metal period" in fact the songs in this demo can be refered as Death Metal,maybe not in the classical meaning of the genre but clearly Metal.
If the name of this young outfit remind you Haemmorhage maybe you're not wrong,beacause E. plays an aggressive Death\grind with splatter lyrics but with differents features from the spanish butchers.First of all the voice is not a growl but a more hc oriented yell,supported by the evil screaming of the bass player,the is more slow then the normal death releases,with no blast beats involved but just a thrash style fast beat alternated to mefitics mid tempos,obviously we are not facing the standard Suffocation-clone or the disgusting slam death scums of these years(geez...who really like that shit with the pig squeal?) but a band thar clearly had listened to C.Corpse,Grave and Broken Hope but had also learned the grind lesson(in violence) of early Carcass,Rot and Cripple Bastards(maybe a cover of "Pete The Ripper" of CB will be sweet done by E.).Aniway a real good demo that mixs Death,Grind and some others metal suggestions with splatter lyrics that if you are a fan of movies like "Ichi the killer" "Bad Taste" or "Braindead" you will enjoy.
I really enjoyed that the band sent me the demo by mail,like in the old school way as true tape traders and that they are not a pro-rape,homophobe,sexist porno grind band,Gianni from the band said tha now the band is a trio without bass(like the mighty Assuck) and they are more grindcore oriented, soon news on these pages.
