Arrivano dal pianeta Ur-ano per la seconda volta i nostri amatissimi Abduction, la conclamata macchina aliena da skank.
Questa seconda fatica dei trashers cagliariatani sancisce il ritorno del figliol prodigo Matt dietro le pelli (già presente sul mitico split "Salvini's Punx Fuck Off"), completando una formazione rodata e pronta a sfrecciare a velocità Mach 3 in un turbine di thrash metal influenzato sicuramente dagli Exodus (come testimonia Baloff's Zone) ma anche da roba più punk come In-Defence o simili.
A tal proposito c'è l'interessante medley in "Abduction TV", dove i nostri si divertono a fare una sequela di micro canzoni, tutte più o meno diverse, quasi una session power-violence all'interno del disco stesso!
Un altro highlight è certamente "Granpa Rick", tributo alla serie sci-fi "Rick e Morty" dove, in coda al pezzo, viene citato l'arcinoto tema di apertura.
Un grosso passo avanti per la band, che si dimostra più compatta e fantasiosa rispetto al debutto, comprimendo in 34 minuti tutto il necessario per una band thrash, ovvero refrain da anthem, velocità e bei leads melodici che certamente danno un feeling spaziale al progetto.
A coadiuvare le acide vocals di Elvio ci sono il bassista Stefano (in Baloff zone), Ricky (in Reposator) e Gabriele Murgia (Fart club).
La ciliegina sulla torna è il bellisimo artwork di Bill Hauser (già suelle copertine di In Defence, F.K.Ü., Toxic Holocaust e Hirax!).
Il vinilazzo verde è stampato in cospirazione con Pogohai Records, Fast 'n Loud Records, Livevil Records, Professional Punkers and Impeto Records.
Veramente un bel lavoro, per tutti gli alieni thrasher fattoni là fuori!

Our beloved Abduction, the acclaimed alien skank machine, arrive from the planet Ur-anus for the second time. This new effort of the trashers from Cagliari marks the return of the prodigal son Matt behind the drumset (already served his skinbashing on the legendary split "Salvini's Punx Fuck Off") completing a match-made-in-hell formation ready to bust at Mach 3 speed in a whirlwind of Thrash Metal.
They're influenced by Exodus (as Baloff's Zone testifies) but also by more punk stuff like In-Defense or similar, as you can hear in the interesting medley called "Abduction TV" where the band enjoys making a sequence of micro songs, all in a more or less different style, almost like a power-violence session inside the record itself! Another highlight is certainly "Granpa Rick", a tribute to the well-known sci-fi series "Rick and Morty", where the famous opening theme is mentioned at the end of the song.
A big step forward for the band that previous effort showing a more compact and imaginative side than the debut, compressing in 34 min everything necessary for a thrash maniacs such as anthemic refrains, speed and beautiful melodic leads that certainly give a space feeling to the project.
