Siamo in un'epoca di mutamenti e di crisi di ideali, dove non esistono più delle etichette certe, e se nella maggior parte dei casi significa vuoto intellettuale e miseria artistica, per i R.O.T.S.W. è tutt'altro.
Questa band piemontese la si potrebbe definire blackened crust, ma sarebbe fuorviante perché hanno tutti quegli stacchi sludge e poi crust-hardcore? Quale gruppo del genere finirebbe con un pezzo acustico e con inserti vagamente industriali? Davvero un'identità multisfaccettata e ricca, ma coesa, quella che traspare da questi quattro pezzi (uno è una cover dell'anthem Troops of Doom, virata più su Morbid Visions che non su Schizoprhenia).
Le influenze chiaramente si sprecano: si possono sentire i riff asfitici dei Bolt Thrower, cupi echi figli dei Dissection, tetre ricadute alla Iskra, ma tutto sapientemente amalgamato, per riuscire ad elevarsi dalla mediocrità del clone e marcando il proprio territorio con le insegne del proprio stile, che sicuramente ha bisogno di un'espansione e di un respiro più largo di un EP, ma che getta le basi per un percorso fervido.

We are in an era of changes and crisis of ideals, where certain labels no longer exist and if in most times it means intellectual void and artistic misery, for R.O.T.S.W. it means real artistic personality else you could call it blackened crust. But would it be misleading because they have all those sludgy riff and then again crust-hardcore? Which group of this genre will end up with an acoustic track and with vaguely industrial inserts? Truly a multi-faceted and rich but cohesive identity of these four tracks (one is a cover of the Troops of Doom anthem, veering more on Morbid Visions than on Schizoprhenia).
The influences are various you can hear the asphyxical riffs of the Bolth Thrower, gloomy echoes spwaned from Dissection, gloomy fallouts in the vein of Iskra skillfully cohesive to be able to rise from the mediocrity of the clones and marking its own territory with the insignia of its own style that certainly needs its wider room than an EP, but which lays the foundations for a fiery path.
From the bio in our possession the lyrics seem to be inspired by the life of Emilio Salgari.
