Il Sistema Di Mel è un gruppo bresciano attivo dal 2014 arrivato al tanto agognato primo full lenght. Stiliticamente ci troviamo davanti ad un alternative rock/postcore molto melodico ed emotivo, abbastanza lontano dai generi che generalmente recensiamo qui... diciamo che questo non è proprio pane per i nostri denti.
Attenzione però! Il Sistema di Mel non è composto da degli scappati di casa qualunque con la passione per i testi poetici, ma si fa riconoscere in un genere in cui, a nostro parere, raramente spicca qualcosa. In particolare la voce principale, profonda ed impostata, è sicuramente un tratto distintivo che li eleva sopra la mediocrità generica delle bands medie del genere.
La perizia tecnica dei singoli strumentisti è indubbia.
Quello che colpisce è l'ottima scelta dei suoni e del mixaggio, azzeccato, molto etereo ed avvolgente, che ben si sposa con le liriche fortemente introspettive dei bresciani.
Consigliato a chi ha un lato più soft nascosto sotto la maglia dei Doom e agli appassionati del genere.
Sicuramente un prodotto ben fatto.

Il Sistema di Mel (Mel's System) plays an heartfelt and melodic alternative rock/postcore, which is not exactly what we are accostumed to listen, cause you know, we are suckers for the dirty and raw sound in general, but we are totally dumb on the mellow side.
All thing considered, this LP is not bad, because this four guys hailing from Brescia (Italy) know how to play their instruments, the outstanding feature is the main singer (they got a triple vocal approach) which is deep and "theatrical" voice style, mark a difference between this and 100 clone band.
So, if you got a mellow side under your Doom T-shirt, give it a try, is a well recorded and mixed product.
