MOTRON - WHO'LL STOP THE RAIN?

Nei primi 2000 ci fu una pestilenza, la cosidetta "Yersinia Crustis". Le strade erano piene di corpi senza vita, e chi sopravviveva rimaneva mutato. Mutazioni come tentacoli al posto dei capelli, acciaio nelle loro facce e abbigliamento completamente nero furono le caratteristiche di una nuova specie che, nutrita solo a raglie di speed e alcool, si dedicava a creare un rumore infernale denominato crust-core.
In tempi odierni l'infezione sembra essere arginata e non c'è più un numero di mutanti così alto, ma il rischio di moderate recrudescenze è sempre dietro l'angolo, e questo è il caso.
I Motron sono una tribù di crustpunx mutanti che prende il nome dall'omonimo motociclo il Motron GTO. Sopravvissuti al virus, si dedicano al culto del rumore, suonando un mangel D-Beat violentissimo figlio di cult act come E.N.T., Disgust, Doom, Hiatus e Black Uniforms, senza dimenticarsi il rock n roll motorheadino che è il seme di tutto questo disagio.
Questi canti tribali di guerra contro la società costituita sono stati stampati su un LP che porta il nome di "Who'll Stop The Rain", e fotografa in pieno la realtà post apocaliptica di questi soggetti mutati, tra birra e benzina, anfibi, creste e dreadlocks!
Fatto per i fanatici della voce gutturale e dei riff essenziali, ma sopratutto del ritmo punk più importante di tutti.
Spiccano una selvaggia cover dei Nabat e un rifacimento più o meno esplicito di "If you're only in it for the the music" degli ENT, che diventa "If you're only in it for the lyrics"!
Un disco potente e che ci riporta su uno stile che non ricalcano più in molti.

In the early 2000s there was a plague, the so-called "Yersinia Crustis". The streets were full of lifeless bodies and those who survived remained mutated, protrusions like tentacles instead of hair, steel in their faces and completely black clothing were the characteristics of a new species, which nourished only with speed and alcohol, dedicated itself to creating the infernal noise called crust-core.
Nowadays the infection seems to be contained and there is no longer such an high number of mutants, but the risk of moderate upsurge is always around the corner and this is the case.
The Motrons are a tribe of mutant crustpunx that takes its name from the motron motorcycle, surviving the virus and devoting themselves to the cult of noise by playing a very violent Mangel DBeat son of cult acts such as ENT, Disgust, Doom, Hiatus and Black Uniforms, without forgetting Motorhead r'n'r style, which is the seed of all this discomfort.
These tribal songs of war against the established society have been printed on  LP that bears the name of "Who'll Stop The Rain" and fully photographs the post-apocaliptic reality of these mutated subjects, including peer, petrol, boots, mohawks and dreadlocks!
Made for fans of guttural voices and essential riffs and, of course, the most important punk rhythm of all.
A wild cover by Nabat and a more or less explicit makeover of  "If you're only in it for the music" by ENT that becomes "If you're only in it for the lyrics"!
A powerful record that brings back to a style no many bands play anymore.
